I have just found the most amazing site for drawing references! It’s called JustSketchMe and it is totally free! It’s really helpful for getting the perfect pose for your character!

Click on “Open beta webapp” and get started!

You’ll see something like this, but in more of a standard position. Here, you can move any of the limbs to whatever position you are looking for. And if you’re not looking for anything specific, you can just fiddle around with it until inspiration hits you. To move them around, click on one of the white balls, and touching the red, green, or blue arrow, drag it in the direction you want that limb to go.

Hitting the three lines on the right shows you where you can add light sources. That’s right, LIGHT SOURCES!! You can see where the sun or unnatural light will hit your character!

Hitting on the circles in the left top corner allows you to switch to a female character, a knight, or an assasin! (The female and male features are not very defined, so they can also be applied to non binary characters.)

Tapping on the eye button on the bottom makes the little white balls disappear, and to better draw your character based off of the pose.

This is my rough sketch using this site, and I am so proud of it!! This site saved my life!

Hey friend! Thanks so much for reaching out! In all honesty, we kinda lost track of time since it is an incredibly busy time for us - Roxy is finishing their final film for uni, and we’re moving across the country in about two weeks, and it’s all just been a bit of a hectic time.

The next chapter is, in fact, already written - we always try to stay a few chapters ahead of publishing to allow for editing and of course the wonderful illustrations and animations to be made. 

At the moment, we just have a few things that are a bit more high priority than writing EtV, so while we definitely aren’t done and won’t stop writing and publishing, we’re taking a small hiatus. I meant to write a post about it a while ago but it kinda got lost among all the other stuff. Sorry about that!

Anyway, we’re currently expecting the hiatus to end by the end of the month. June 1st is a Saturday so for now we’ll aim for that. Cus by then uni will be over, we’ll have settled in our new place, and things should just be a lot calmer. 

Really sorry to have left you on a cliffhanger! If you’re desperate to read more, you can find us on Patreon where we’ve published the next chapter already!

Just to warn you, though, it’s an intermission - a flashback chapter, so you won’t get the resolution to the cliffhanger. Sorry!
