i just saw a creator on tiktok talking about how confused she was abt the hate stranger things season 5 was getting, did some research and discovered it was in her words “mostly byler fans” which is actually crazy to me because i’m seeing everyone and their mothers criticizing many valid misses.

the worst thing abt it though is that her video is opening a breeding ground for so much homophobia and false narratives in the comments.

also i saw someone reply saying that bylers are very similar to gaylors but do you want to know the joke and hypocrisy of it all ? the creator responded implying that she understands gaylors and has been down that rabbit hole ?? as in shipping the REAL PEOPLE who have denied any relation, but mad at the people shipping fictional characters where it’s at the very LEAST one sided.

i truly do appreciate that the general audience is finally switching up their opinions on will’s character, but i don’t like how a lot of their reasoning is because he’s gotten “hot” (his character is like 15yo) and that he has gained powers. like you guys wanted him to die 4 days ago when he was a child with serious ptsd ?? 😭

same goes for the current surge in byler love; saying that you want to see them kiss because they’re both hot now is certainly interesting.

i may just be the friend who’s too woke though.
