ok leaving for work at 7:30 was probably overkill since my commute is only supposed to be. 30 mins. but. all of my london family and also the entire internet kept telling me that the tube is a horror story before work. they scared me.

missed the last 15 minutes of the final because i realised that my phone charger stopped working which is a huge problem because i just moved, start work tomorrow, don’t have wifi yet. straight up would not be able to find my way to work or contact my manager. so i was using the last 5% of my battery to try and find a store that would sell me a phone charger at 6am. that didn’t work so instead i called my mom who saved me from edinburgh by telling me she had left me a pin which let me switch my sim card to my old phone.

And in the end I think I've learned the final lesson from my travels in time. And I've even gone one step further than my father did. The truth is I now don't travel back at all, not even for the day. I just try to live every day as if I've deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it, as it were the full final day of my extraordinary, ordinary life. We're all traveling through time together, every day of our lives. All we can do is our best to relish this remarkable ride.
