I do enjoy this one but I have to be in the right mood. Alice is fun and itās all so trippy. It is a fun world created with vivid lanuage.

Really my only complaint with this book is that it is so short. Super enjoyed this and glad that I went with the audiobook. Loved hearing her stories, jokes, and deep thoughts read as only she could read them.

Kind of shocked I stopped playing Animal Crossing long enough to finish this one. It was a solid okay, but not amazing. I just didnāt connect strongly with any of the characters. I will still read whatever Mary Choi puts out next, this one was just not my fave.

I did enjoy this book I think I'm just losing my love of middle grade. The girl was barely in it.. I know it's his story but she seemed really cool so I was bummed. Still a solid read though. Will be continuing on with these books.

I love this world so much. SO much. The first book was my favorite but this one is still amazing.Ā As always Sanderson was able to take everything we learned in the first book and turn it on it's head. Our leading lady was as bold as ever. Really enjoyed the new friends that came along in this one and the interesting moral dilemmas he brings to the table.

Reread ofĀ my second favorite Jane Austen book (first Persuasion) and I will never stop loving it. Elinor is my home girl. I feel like everyone gets what they deserve which fills me with all the joy. Would gladly recommend and will always be down to read again.

Did my first reread of this one and boy did I forget how heavy it is. It really rips you up from beginning to end. Itās good stuff, tears and all.

No one told me this book would wreck me! I thought it was a fluffy YA book. So many feels and tears and moments of freaking out. Loved these two and all their messy moments. The music was great and it made me want to buy comic books and wear eyeliner more. It felt like a time capsule with the lack of cellphones. Took a star off cause I felt like there was an excessive amount of language and I donāt think Iād reread it.

I went into this really unsure what to expect (basically my first non-Star Wars sci-fi read) but it pulled me in so fast. The main character is nothing like me, yet I found her completely relatable and real feeling. Any time I thought I would get tired of where were at a twist would come and put me right back in it. Truly an action packed read. Would reread for sure and excited to see where it all goes.

Did a fun, light listen through this. Havenāt read it in years and man it was nice to revisit an old love that got me started with books. Good classic woodland creature fun.Ā

This book was so heavy.. too heavy for me. It was well written and read quickly. The twist at the end was good, but it also made me sad. Of course most of the book made me sad. On that note I did really feel for all the characters.
On a whole well done but not the book for me.
Back at it.
Itās been a hot minute since I posted on here (there was a lot going on.. state to state move, flu, birthdays, bought a house, panic attacks, ER visits, and Christmas) but hey itās a new year! So Iām back on the reading wagon and new reviews should be coming soon. Fingers crossed theyāre good ones. Happy reading everybody.<3

This was a perfect break from the thick books I've been reading. It makes the story so quick but I still feel like it fit in all the things. Took off a star because the art is not my favorite, but that's entirely preference. I would for sure recommend this to someone who wants a new way to consume this tale.

This is waaayy after the fact because I got really sick for a month, but yeah here we go. Loved this. It took me on an emotional journey and sent me all over the place on what I thought would happen. These characters mean so much to me at this point. One of the very last twists had me soo happy. Sanderson writes political drama in such a real thrilling way and I was here for it.
I think the world is about to get bigger in the next book, which I low key felt like this one lacked, so I'm excited.
Finished April 28, 2019 ???am ****
Didnāt post when I finished this cause it was early in the AM, but I made it through this long emotional journey. It took 200 pages for this book to get going (which I get there is a lot to set up) so I took a star off. It is amazing though. Had some drama that took me off guard and some sweet non romantic relationships. The magical system is so intense and active. Definitely excited to dive into book two.

Oh my lands this book makes you go through hell but it is worth it for that ending. Such a high-action story from start to finish. I cannot believe how satisfied I am with the wrap up of this trilogy. Normally Iām sad to be done with so many characters I liked but it was timed so well I was ready to say goodbye.
