Ok but can we acknowledge how great representation is in the dragon prince?

You have disabled, black, Lesbian, trans, vitiligo, gender non conforming, mixed and even more!

And it’s all non stereotypical, Amaya is a warrior and while they have occasional problems in communicating, it’s never shown as her being “stupid” for only speaking sign.

The black female characters are powerful and strong but not masculinised.

Terry is outright shown to be trans, but it’s not his whole personality and he is allowed to have “feminine traits”

My favourite type of dynamic in fiction is two characters worried for each other after something traumatic happens

It's the "Are you hurt are you okay?!" TO "I'm fine but are you okay?!" with the touching each other faces and checking if they have any injuries or worse

Bonus points if they're putting their foreheads against each other after knowing the other is alright

Before Callum, all of this was thought to be impossible. Humans just couldn't do magic without the use of a primal stone or, in the case of dark magic, a sacrifice. The Earth is round, the grass is green, and humans aren't capable of this☝️

And remember Callum has a photographic memory. Some of the spells above he learned earlier in the same episode or even on the spot.

We're so used to it at this point but it's not normal.

Not to mention not only did he successfully perform his first dark magic spell, he walked away corruption free and still more powerful.

Shit if I was Aaravos I'd want him on my side, too.
