I don't know if I'll ever feel like writing a fanfic about this, but I wanted to talk about my AU of KPDH x Genshin Impact.
this Childe art was the fist one.
I thought of SO MANY things, like A LOT!
To begin with, I'll talk about the characters I thought of from Genshin to be their equivalents in KPDH:
Lumine - Rumi
Childe - Jinu
I started by having them in mind, I thought the interactions were similar and I like the ship 🙂↕️
Xilonen - Mira
I thought about it a lot and almost wanted to put Rosaria, but Xilonen is literally a rapper, roller skates, and is a DJ... It had to be her lol
Mualani - Zoey
I think they have the exactly same vibe, and mualani loves music and dance
Albedo - Mystery
Let's be honest, Albedo has a mysterious vibe, but I was also unsure about Kinich, because I kind of like him with Mualani, but since there's that scene where Zoey says Mystery is her type, I thought Albedo would fit in anyway lol
Kaeya - Romance
Like... Have you guys seen Kaeya's lines in the teapot for the traveler?? Completely meloromantic
Itto - Abby
Look, they even have the same first letter in their name 😅, but it's actually because Itto is muscular, and they have the same vibe
Dahlia - Baby
I thought of about 3 characters for Baby, but then I looked at the list of all the characters and I looked at Dahlia and said, "Why does he look so much like Baby?" And that was it. But there's something funny that I discovered later: Baby likes spicy things and so does Dahlia, and I discovered this BY CHANCE, I basically made a lucky guess 😅
Surtalogi - Gwi ma
I thought about leaving Gwima as Gwima, but man, Surtalogi is such a jerk to Skirk and his is totally connect with the abbys, so Yeah
Skirk - Saja's manager
Are they in the movie? No, but I was looking a lot at the niku30_ universe and I thought "what if they were" I think the skirmish makes total sense because I've already created an extensive lore for the child of this version
But something I hadn't thought about was Celine or Bobby 🫣
As I said, I created a lore for Tartaglia and I even have a version of an encounter between Lumine and Childe. It's inspired by some sketches of KPDH and possible encounters with Rujinu. Actually, it's in an aquarium and it's like a script.
These are some sketches I planned and maybe I'll revisit them, but it's a maybe, whenever I feel like it lol (yes I used tracing, that's why some are weird and since they're old they don't match my current style, but it was just to get the initial idea)
