me on the first day of september
Depression is
staring blankly up at the ceiling
crying yourself to sleep
too numb to cry yourself to sleep
falling asleep easily
too many naps
not being able to take naps
wanting to cry but out of tears
too much sleep
too little sleep
always too tired
forgetting to eat
forgetting to wash
days are too long
nights are too long
no energy to do stuff
not knowing what to do
lost af
alone af
itâs never quiet
losing yourself in darkness
losing your mind
changing you in different ways
turning you into someone else
eating away my sanity
eating away my will to live
erasing my gift to feel
erasing my ability to connect
a cold blooded killer
How to tell that it's getting bad again:
- I sleep to much or not at all -I eat too much or too little -I sound disinterested in everything -Be spaced out a lot - I will ramble a lot or not talk at all -I lose track of time - I make cynical comments, usually about myself -I push people away -I tend to rub my eyes and head a lot -I avoid eye contact -I am always shakey -I will avoid certain conversations

I hear stories of parents physically abusing their children and can never compare to that- so often I feel the pain I suffer can not be nearly as bad as what theyâre going through. My parents always tell me âyou could have it worseâ and i feel that theyâre right. But since when does that qualify yelling at your children, making them feel worthless, unloved, suicidal? Raising them to be terrified of disappointment and failure. Sure it âcould be worseâ, but where does that line fall?
raise your voice at me and iâll never be interested in anything you have to say ever again
Iâm never your number one priority, but youâre always mine.
it hurts
âAnd when my mother asks me whatâs wrong I just say Iâm tired because I donât have the heart to tell the woman who gave me life that I donât want it anymoreâŠâ

having conflicting mental disorders..
depression vs anorexia: when suicidal thoughts come, u wanna give in but ana says you're too fat and that u have to be skinny to kill yourself
ocd vs social anxiety: u need to tap the left side of that chair 9 times but people are gonna look at you and hate you and think you're crazy

Canât believe I still miss you. Canât believe Iâm still letting you hurt me even though youâre long gone

Parents
Parents confuse me. And as a mom myself I confuse myself as well. You see, my daughter taught me something important today. I got home from a day of work, she got home from a 5 hour practice. I began dinner for us, she made her own for herself, I had gotten back too late. I asked her to clean the kitchen, do the dishes, put them away, do the dishwasher, refill it, wipe the counters, finish our dinner, while I worked on the porch. She refused. The thing is, as a parent, we donât let our kids say no. She had gotten her own dinner, couldâve cleaned it up herself if I asked, but I made her do it all. Why didnât I listen to what she had to say? I didnât give her a chance to explain she was tired. The stuff I made her clean wasnât even hers. Parents donât let their kids say no. And I realized that, we donât give them a voice, a chance, an opinion. They are supposed to do what we say at all times. She obeyed, although with an attitude, and told me exactly what I had just said. And soemthing this time made me listen. She told me it was my choice to work as much as I did, my choice to do what I do, and she had hers too. So next time, Iâll clean up my own mess, and let her do her own thing.
Set examples for your kids. Donât expect them to apologize to you for sassing if you speak to them just as bad. Donât sit around doing nothing and expect them to clean your shit. You do stuff?, so will your kids. Donât be stupid. Be grownup. If youâre such a shitty parent why did you even try to become one? Think straight. Act like a person not a cock. If your parents are bad, hypocrites, assholes, abusive, get out of it. You donât need them. Respect yourself if they wonât respect you.
Whatâs it like having a father?đ
To the fat ass
Youâre the reason, the only reason.
Donât ask
Donât ask me whatâs wrong ..
1) Iâll break down in sobs
2) itâs probably your fault
