Into The Spiderverse // Across The Spiderverse
"Okay, let's do this one last time. My name is Miles Morales. I was bitten by a radioactive spider. And for the last year and four months, I've been Brooklyn's one and only Spider-Man. And things are going great."
imagine getting this review
I guarantee that Monica at the front desk has not been able to live this review down and her coworkers absolutely bring it up regularly.
If I were Monica I'd print this review out and frame it

I never get tired of the thing where fantasy books name something by just calling it a word but capitalising it. Like oh shit, that person is a Wielder. The supernatural ability to see beyond matter called the Sight. Forces of Light and Darkness. The prohibited art of Knowing. A place simply known as The Blight. Awesome and horrible forces. The Force. You know something's getting bat shit wild when Fantasy Capitalisation comes into the picture. As in capitalising the letters, not the unholy act of seizing fantasy itself in order to churn profit off of it.
That is the work of evil creatures, like The Mouse.
Can we talk about this kid
You wanna talk about that kid? Lets talk about this kid.
Good fuck, what were the translators smoking?
This one also deserves a mention but damn what the fuck was up with yours

one thing about me is i frickin love long ass youtube videos about the most random and niche topics imaginable. defunctland's investigation into who created the disney channel theme song? oh i was seated. a two hour breakdown on the lore of the entire tekken video game franchise? sign me up. a vlog about a cross-country roadtrip dining at every single rainforest cafe in the united states? i'm there.

I’ve been meaning to draw the eligible guys and gals from stardew valley for a while now.
TIME OUT! I called time out!
I really like how many of the world’s most iconic structures and places are just right next to some of the most mundane stuff imaginable, for example
Stonehenge
Is right next to a busy road
The Pyramids of Giza
Are at the outskirts of Cairo
Niagara Falls
Are part of the town of the same name
And Agrippa’s Pantheon
Is crammed inside downtown Rome
It just so interesting to notice.
I lived in Nîmes for three years, and the mundane feeling I got whenever I would walk from my apartment, by the Roman coloseum in the city which was 2000+ years old, and continue with my life because it was just sort of there still surprises me when I think about it.
This post is just that feeling put into words and pictures.
