Could you possibly write up a Viktor/Hermione head cannon fic? They are a favourite of mine!
this is for the @hprarepairnet hogwarts challenge!
hermione granger didn’t understand why viktor krum had any interest in going to the library.
but she saw him there every day she was there, and he looked awkward as he had an 800 page book in between his fingers.
she swore she never actually saw him skimming the pages.
every time she would glance up, he would be staring at her.
this made her cheeks turn patchy red, and she would have to clear her throat as though she was getting rid of the awkward tension.
this went on for weeks before she said something.
one day, she just couldn’t take it anymore.
she marched up to him and slammed her book down on the table in front of him. hermione saw a few students behind them turn around to look at the commotion.
“what is it you want with me?” she pressed, “you’re here every day and don’t even read a page.”
she watched him swallow nervously, and when she saw the uncomfortable look in his eye, she felt bad.
“i’m sorry-” she started, but he interrupted her.
“don’t apologize, i have just been watching you to see what i can talk to you about.”
“wh-why do you want to talk to me?”
she was full of disbelief. most people wanted to avoid hermione. she was told she was too intimidating, especially by boys her age.
rather than answer her, he got up and pulled out a chair for her to sit in.
hermione blushed and looked around the library. people were still watching, but she tucked a curl behind her ear and sat down next to him.
“i think you’re beautiful,” he told her honestly, “and i want to get to know you.”
stunned, hermione blinked a few times, but then she couldn’t help but smile.
