Iridia's Comfort

Christmas has finally passed, so I can officially post this! I worked on this for the lovely @mintymidraws for our art community discord. We host a secret santa every year that I never miss.

This year, I got to draw her gorgeous Iridia. While I was reading Iridia's backstory, I really connected with her outcast background and how she grew to be self-reliant and confident by herself. This is adult her comforting child Iridia.

Blood Mage

It is a concept for a character I've had in the back of my head for a while now. It feels good to finally have her on paper, especially her main feature: her magic-circle based tattoos.

A WIP I'm working on for an idea I've had in my mind for a while. I've always loved magic circles AND magical tattoos. So, of course, I loved the idea of them working together on a character! I've even sketched this exact idea out before but didn't feel like it was working. Hopefully, second times the charm!

🌙 Lunar Celebration 🌙

These characters are supposed to represent the Lunar New Year & Mid-Autumn Festival, respectively. The idea is for the Mid-Autumn character to be looking to the past (the character with the umbrella) and the Lunar New Year looking to the future. The client ended up deciding to have the character be read right to left, similar to traditional Chinese script.

I managed to finally finish this after my 3+ month long break from drawing! It's better late than never 👌👌
