It really freaks me out that people think body hair is unsanitary. Like y'all are just so brainwashed if you believe that body hair is perfectly normal and fine on men, but on women its suddenly dirty? Use your critical thinking skills for a few damn seconds, I’m begging you.
mitski is one of my favorite artists of all time but i cannot STAND what white tumblr users did to her.
she writes music about her experiences as a japanese-american and how that coincides with her experiences in love, lust, heartbreak, longing, ect, but everyone came on here and went “OMG FERAL WOMAN SINGS ABOUT LONGING HEHE”, totally stripping the songs of her raw experiences just so it can appeal and relate to them more
and can i just say? weird as fuck for white people to call an asian woman feral for having feelings, especially considering how eager so many people are to infantilize east asian women for their stupid anime kpop aesthetics. i will not forgive yall for that. just leave mitski alone please
this post is ok to rb btw and i would greatly encourage the white people who called her or her music “feral” to analyze what about her music is “feral” to you when a majority of her discography is pretty calm and collected
