Ted review

Saw Ted on pay per view after a wee pub session on Saturday. A great concept of a film and well executed. Mark Wahlberg remains one of my favourite actors, often overlooked, and the film had great sentiment and humour. Having never seen the creator's other creations including Family Guy, I'll look to do so. A good friend of mine recently told me that Ted was the worst film they'd seen for a number of years. I'm now re-evaluating my opinion of this person.

Les Misérables review

A cinematic delight. Superb acting, powerful drama and wondeful set pieces. Actors I didn't rate before - Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway - delivered career defining performances and Eddie Redmayne solidified his one-to-watch status. This film will struck your heartstrings like very few films this year or any other. A classic in the making.
