Here’s the part of the story they never told you: I never meant to fall. I kicked and screamed and fought every step of the way but in the end, the darkness took me. In the end, I gave in. Because it promised me safety.
The darkness lied. There is no safety in falling and I fell into myself. Into the deepest, darkest pit in my soul. But then I heard your voice, your call, a ray of light in the dark and I knew what I had to do. I climbed out.
