Miltia was completely nude, and glanced over at her claws near her pile of clothes before she saw who it was. She wasn’t sure whether to run or sigh a sigh of relief with Blondie around.
“That blue-haired geek isn’t with you this time, is he? I’m pretty sure if he saw this much woman, he’d explode. Also I… I can explain why I’m like this in the middle of nowhere.”

Cinder smiled and started driving to their destination, looking to Miltia once she heard the suggestion. “Define alone time, are we talking business alone time or pleasure alone time?” The raven haired lady asked, wanting some clarification.
Melanie was more of the feisty of the two. She’d fight someone for implying she liked them, while Miltia was usually the quieter. However, Miltia was usually more forward about her intentions.
“Honestly? Pleasure. Being around you is like being star struck but... all the time. Your gaze is hypnotic. I hope that’s not weird or whatever.”

The Rose herself had quite the similar tone, picked up not from Miltia, but from the months of travel she did, several things wearing down on her as well.
“Physically, yes I’m older than you, but by birth year and such? No, I’m still younger than you. It’s just that stopping time so much and all adds up, as you can see.” Nevertheless, Ruby gave a nod, listening to Miltia and deciding to reply and ask at the same.
“Wait, you have a place of your own now?–Ah right, the estate prices must have sunk, what with everyone wanting to leave Vale as soon as possible.” Answering the question now. “Hmm, let’s go ahead and give your sister a heart-attack.”
“No, Melanie and I have had the place we’re at forever. We had to sleep with him for it, but Junior bought it for us.”
Miltia looked so serious until she cracked a smile and started snickering. She was hoping the shock-factor of saying such a thing would mess with the Rose girl- well... woman now..
“I’m just kidding. That secret-softy doesn’t have the guts to extort us like that. You’re right, the estate prices plummeted and we easily bought the place I’m talking about. I’ll take you there.”
Miltia gestured for Ruby to follow, still proud of herself for her awful joke. And as much as she loved Melanie, she couldn’t wait to see the look on her face from the guest she was bringing... The only way it could be better is if Blondie herself was coming along.

Onyx’s glare remained on his own weapon, only turning to look at her when she asked the questions.
“I made the sheath myself yes, but had to get the sword forged a certain way so couldn’t do that myself. And yeah im very confident in my skills with my weapon.” Fact was he we was very confident they wouldn’t have any troubles unless there was a small army of grimm, but he didn’t want to seem like he overconfident.
“And before you ask, no its not a gun. The sheath just allows me to make faster and stronger cuts… And I hope you dont mind me asking. But why claws?”
So Onyx had a custom sword with a handmade sheath? Miltia could respect that. If he was confident in his abilities with it, then that was good, too. She didn’t want to have to take the Lien she gave him off his corpse and finish the rest of this mission herself if he wasn’t competent in combat after all.
“Not that it’s anyone’s business, but my sister and I designed our weapons together. We’re both, like, halves of a whole extremely tough fighter, which is why she uses heels and I use claws. Apart we’re good, but together we’re great. I chose claws because they can parry most weapons like, say, you’re sword. They’re also reinforced enough to block most projectiles. And before you ask, it’s not a gun.”

Well, someone was honest. Neo could appreciate that. Was she being hit on? It was kind of hard to tell but if she was, she’d allow it. Usually the people that flirt with her were creepy drunk men, but if Neo had to he honest…Miltia wasn’t so bad herself. Sure, maybe things would be better if she had an actual translator around, or if it weren’t so loud and she could use text to speech, but overall Neo was enjoying having such a nice conversation.
“Thanks. My partner always says there’s no sense fighting if you don’t look good doing it.”
She flipped her hair and smiled. It was pretty easy to take pride in an appearance when your semblance allowed you to pick it, but it was nice to hear someone appreciating her taste.
Miltia gave a wink, hoping to hide at least one of her now dilated pupils after slyly checking Neo out. But it was also to accompany her next quip.
“Finally nice to see other people agree. I mean, like, what kind of message are you sending if you can only fight while looking awful?”
Miltia wasn’t sure to say. She didn’t want to scare Neopolitan off by the constant flirting and compliments. She didn’t want to look like some tool. But it was like she couldn’t get the lady out of her head! She shifted in place to straighten her posture and decided to try and put these feelings into light.
“Sorry for being so forward or whatever. You’re just so like... graceful looking and cool and I really like it.”

“Hey, I get it…Just….Keep your head up. Junior isn’t the smartest guy, I would know. Now, c’mon. Bad stuff out of the way, pull up a chair and get a drink. Wanna talk for a bit.”
“‘Kay.”
Miltia followed Yang’s instructions: pulling up a chair and getting a drink. What could she say? She was curious about where this was going and why exactly Yang stopped here of all places. Again.
“Bartender, give me a Snowberry Sidewinder. And keep it on hand in case Melanie comes around.”

Van gave a small nod showing he was listening.
“So you’re a guard then.” He commented confirming the theory in the back of his head. He had noticed a girl around when scanning the area who looked awfully similar to Miltia, it would take some quite dense to not make the connection.
“Should I leave my contact info with you imcase you want to call me in for an audition or something?” He asked, it had been a bit since he had performed somewhere publicly so he wasn’t sure what to do.
“That won’t be necessary. We know your name now, so if we need you... we’ll find you.”
One of the most fun parts of working for someone who was basically an information broker was the ability to creep people out by finding them when they least expected it.
Still, it was nice to know they possibly had a Plan B if any of their regularly scheduled entertainment called out for some unexpected reason or another. Miltia normally wasn’t the one to handle this, but she could just chalk it up as another favor Junior can owe her.
“And you said you’re a student, right? So like, you can fight, cook, play, and sing. Aren’t you just a jack of all trades or whatever.”

Hei had seen more than a few creepers in his time working in the bar, and he had zero tolerance for them. Not only did they scare of customers, and ruin the atmosphere, they could also ruin a clubs reputation if there ever came in force. Business men were no exception, if they wanted to try and use their influence to be creeps in his club, they’d have another thing coming.
“I have a feeling the usual will happen: Melanie and I will put them at ease but your, like, visage will make sure they stay respectful.”
One of the best perks of working Junior’s club was the lack of need to completely follow the rules. Some punk comes in stirring up trouble? They could just beat them up. They try to go to the police? Junior could just bribe them; but it didn’t usually come to that, since the important ‘business’ types usually couldn’t afford to publicly associate themselves with a relatively seedy establishment.

Okay, Miltia couldn’t even finish that sentence. No. He wasn’t. She awkwardly cleared her throat and looked the other way, nodding her head.
“Whatever. I understand, I guess.”

“Nah, just some space-time manipulation. My semblance is still speed.” She told the other and simply yawned, crossing her arms and giving the other a nod. “It’s pretty weird, I know, but after a while you get used to being punched everywhere.”
“Oh yeah, my Aura broke after the first tree. I was 11 or something back then, the other two caused a broken bone or two, but apparently I got quite the durable body, even back then.”
Nevertheless, she decided to add. “Well I’m off-age now, as you can for yourself.” The years were good on Ruby, but she wasn’t referring to that. “Mind if I have a drink or a couple? Wait, do you even serve drinks or are you just the pretty bodyguard, sis?”
“Wait wait... does this mean you’re taller and older than me now? The hell?”
Miltia was confused, but she couldn’t say it didn’t make sense when Ruby provided her explanation. Her eyes and hair and... everything was different. It was either Remnant’s best disguise, or everything she said was true.
“I think I need a drink after that explanation. And I guess you’re technically old enough now, huh? I’m just the pretty bodyguard, but I can still get us free drinks. You wanna do it in Junior’s place and give him a heart attack or do it my place and give Melanie a heart attack?”
The way Miltia spoke of all of this sounded so nonchalant and deadpan. No wonder the two got along so well...
