I’m Reuben and I draw (often) and write (sometimes). My opinions are I don’t like bad things and I think smartphones are deeply evil and we should get rid of them forever. I love PHYSICS and mathematics and history and literature and fountain pens and cassettes and electronics repairs and cooking and editing (I'm a newspaper editor on the side)

on twst i like jamiazu and not really much else i fear. i draw jamil and sometimes azul is there too. and i will take jamiazu requests

my jamil character study fic, A Dream Deferred, is centered around the implications of book four and the theme of conflicting perspectives on exploitation between east and west

I agree on Vil/Neige/The Great Seven. idk if I see Falena as like…well-known enough outside the Sunset Savannah, but it would be hilarious. Arguably, I also think Malleus would be one (sebek would never put the phone down), and it would be ironic because when he tries to play himself, the device explodes or whatever. I’m sure there’s also a skin for Idia’s favorite music group (premo?) but they don’t really count. Maybe Eric Venue????

I also do have to plug my hc that rook would main a neige skin, and his burner account would have a vil skin. he would play both of them together to achieve true peace on earth

Freshman Azul is so great to me conceptually. Just imagining a boy trying so very hard to acclimate to human life seamlessly and he his not very good at it. So in awe of being able to smell things and see the sky and also he’s not great at walking or running or anything to do with coordination. He’s trying so hard to seem like a normal human being but it’s so clear he is not. He just wants to be as capable as everyone else, he doesn’t appreciate having limitations.

Also I think it is conceptually really funny the idea of love at first sight with Jamil Viper. Azul Ashengrotto having his Ariel moment and deciding to change the trajectory of his life for a pretty guy who he’s barely even spoken to. You see my vision? Freshman Azul is among people for the first time and there’s this really pretty guy and he won’t even talk to him and so he starts observing him and realizes there’s something wrong with him and that just makes it worse.

Pt a the gayest fucking shit I’ve ever heard Jamil what is this word choice. Azul AND Idia are both winded as hell from stairs but NOOOOOO he’s only focusing on azul. Also the one below this. Keep in mind Jamil has had to give Azul flying lessons before.

Beansfesf is also a goldmine but I really just enjoy when these two talk with no one else around bc they have such a funny dynamic. Azul doesn’t talk like this with a lot of people

roommate: well yeah that mind control thing was a bit weird but he's quiet and keeps his side of the room clean, and it's nice to know someone who can cook. like you could have worse you know, my freshman year roommates were so loud and never took out the trash. i mean yeah sometimes i can hear him snickering to himself at night but like it's only once in a while. now more often he puts his pillow over his face and makes these strangled noises. so i think he regrets it anyway. honestly it's worth it for the cooking
