haven’t been around in a while but i just wanna say that i have binged succession and eliot would literally just be ........ a character in succession. doesn’t have to change a lick about him or his modern verse, he would just fit right in, for god’s sake, succession could be about HIS father, and in king lear / kendall roy fashion, eliot would be the son who is the black sheep of the family. yes, this does also stem from the fact that jeremy strong and santino fontana have the same intonation, diction, and tone of voice and it trips me out.

       ‘  i dunno if i’d call it blessed,               but  you’re  definitely  right  about  it  bein’  a  chilly  one.     ‘course,  to  warm  you  up .  ”       as  if  she’s  running  on  a  track,   jenna  expertly  weaves  between  customers  and  tables  alike,   bumping  her  hip  against  eliot  as  she  stops  to  lean  over  and  fill  his  cup.    the  diner  is  extra  busy  this  particular  morning.    with  the  cold  fully  settling  in  on  their  little  town,   those  out  walking  are  even  more  compelled  than  usual  to  stop  in  and  sop  up  some  warmth  before  bustling  along  to  shop  for  god  knows  what.   the  waitress  manages  to  find  half  a  smile  for  dear  eliot.   it’s  hard  not  to,  what  with  his   sweet  as  pie   demeanor  and  all.   she  appreciates  the  anchor  that  is  his  company   -   especially  amidst  the  chaos  of  the  season.     “  -  i  haven’t  had  a  chance  to  get  your  regular  together  yet  with  the  craziness  and  all,  but  that’s  assuming  you   WANT   your  regular. “

HIS HANDS COME TO CRADLE THE CUP IN HIS HANDS, warmth seeping into his freezing hands and it all but helps to boost eliot’s impeccable mood. the smell of coffee hangs in the air, coffee and warm pie and this might be his favorite smell in the world; there is nothing he associates more with this small town he calls home than jenna’s diner. it is his safe haven and jenna’s presence alone is enough to always cheer him up, a foolproof way so to say. shrugging out his thick coat, he rests his chin on the palm of his hand at smiles at jenna, ❛ usual as always ! the most important thing is the coffee anyway, ❜ his smile grows and grows until it resembles a joyful grin and he leans in close to her, close enough so he can say in the most mythical voice he can muster ( and probably sounding ridiculous ) ❛ JENNA ..... don’t you smell it? i smell snow.  ❜

      ‘  hey,  where’s the kiddo ?  ’             is  how  she’s  chosen  to  greet  eliot   (  sans  race,  surprisingly.  )   this  particular  morning.   jenna,  equipped  with  only  her  wits  and  a  coffee  pot  for  yet  another  regular  at  table  5,   nods  eliot  towards  his  favorite  seat  as  she  passes.   still,  she  wastes  no  time,  and  glances  back  over  in  his  direction  as  she  goes  through  refilling  cups  in  the  section.   eliot  rosewater.   looking  sunshine-y  as  always,  lighting  up  the  whole  room,  lighting  up  her  day.    (  though  she  won’t  say  that  last  part.  ).     “  -  i’m  gonna  set  aside  a  slice  of  pie  for  him  anyway,  wherever  he  is.   don’t  want  him  to  have  to  miss  out.  “

❛ GOOD MORNING TO YOU TOO, JENNA !  ❜ in a very chipper mood this morning, eliot finds himself walking into the diner with a pep in his step; maybe more than usual even but he simply can’t help himself. the closer they come to the magical holiday season, the more charmed eliot feels with the whole .... well, world, but today he woke up with a significant feeling, something akin to a sense of foreshadowing, that he could not shake for the life of his and for that reason alone, he feels exhilarated. not even jenna’s .....MOODS could get him out it, though she seems fine today ( and anyway, he enjoys her company always. it’s just something about her    ——     nevermind ) ❛ oh, race? school, someone has to keep up the standard of the family line after all, ❜  he smiles at her.  ❛ coffee? tell me, how are you on this blessed day? awfully cold outside, huh? ❜
