"the plants rejoiced
when human man - aged, matured, meddled their dried fibers into woven tool, mimicking kindred animals with minimal fur-- so that they, too, may hitch a ride to expand beyond their starting point.
Fruit, a sacrifice not all are able to provide as a gifted trade for transport.

It’s five miles south of the Canadian border, twelve miles west of the state line. I’ve never seen so many trees in my life. As W.C. Fields would say, “I’d rather be here than Philadelphia.”
TWIN PEAKS: Pilot (1990) dir. David Lynch
i find there are many instances that people use passages of scripture as conduits of hate... yet if you are able to strip the control of that we have no control over, like the actions of others, and begin to share passages related to what is happening in our lives there is a potential to learn from the mistakes others have made as advice for our own lives. I am not sure if it is helpful to others in full besides the softness that might come to tense faces, regulate the volume of our voices or perhaps others. Allow an ear to hear perception others pick up on of these antiquated messages. Recall our special ability to be storytellers. A gift. An apple. Sweet, tart, filled with infinite potential to use at will for ourselves. Take a moment to look up at the ram in the fence, find falacy in one's own heart and lovingly adjust our own actions. Find the anger that we inevitably will face, pause, take the breath before action or speech, choose to resist throwingthe weaponized rage down, shattering the message we are missing. ( i dont really have much engagement on tumblr, but I am genuinely deeply interested in people's thoughts on this and would love to hear what people think about this. Perhaps there is a story from your culture that you find relevant to share at this time, and if you do, could you share it? thank you ) edited some to adjust grammar and make some sentences more clear.

“My brother used to ask the birds to forgive him; that sounds senseless, but it is right; for all is like an ocean, all things flow and touch each other; a disturbance in one place is felt at the other end of the world…”
Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov.
