I’ve taught basically all of my male friends about the fake phone call and only recently realised that the reason why women are so proficient at it is street harassment.

sometimes i feel bad, but it’s hard to actually let myself feel it. i’ve conquered most of my insecurities about masculinity, but there is still something holding me back.
i hope squinting my face real hard is enough for now, and i hope to slowly learn how to open myself up enough to allow the true catharsis to come out.

Another 160 women and children have been rescued from Boko Haram.
On Thursday, the Nigerian military announced they had rescued at least 160 women and children from Boko Haram’s stronghold in the Sambisa Forest, where, according to Agence France-Presse, the “hostages were held in atrocious condition.“
