[Either way, you should definitely go for it, if you want. "Goddess Homura" is really only a fraction of a character, honestly-- I'd be very interested in seeing where you take that concept.

I imagine Homukami would probably visit her at some point even, honestly.]

"A-Ah, r-right…!"

Forcing a bright smile onto her face, Homura nodded at her words. Right, that made sense. Of course her father would call Sayaka and Hitomi’s parents, they were her best friends after all…

…I wonder if he called them after she…—-

Mm, no. Best not to think about that now. As Madoka leaves the room, Homura sighs and lets her shoulders slump down, trying to calm herself down. At least, once they get to the coffee shop, she wouldn’t have to think about it anymore…

Despite feeling drained from her rather vivid memories, her mind wanders back to the pinkette’s words again, and a small smile graces her lips once more. She’d spoken so warmly towards her…as expected, Madoka was really kind in this timeline, too. Mistaking the way her stomach flops for gratitude, Homura plays with the end of one of her braids as she waits for her friend to return.

It was just a minute after Madoka had left, that the pinkette popped her head back around the door frame, pink phone clutched tightly in one hand.

"Homura-chan! Papa says it's okay if I go to the coffee shop with you-- But he wants to know if you want to come over to my house for food after?"

The smaller Magi may have mentioned that her friend was living alone, when her father had asked if the other's won parents would be okay with it.

A soft, excited smile crossed over her face, at the sight of the other girl playing with the end of her braid-- It was likely that it was a bit of a nervous tic, but it was cute nonetheless.

"I'd like you to come, Homura-chan! I think it would be fun!"

Madoka’s giggle is enough to dust pink over Homura’s cheeks, and she plays with the strap of her bag more to keep from blubbering about the sound. Had she done something embarrassing? Well…no, Madoka wouldn’t laugh at her like that, right? They were friends…even in this timeline, somehow, it already felt like they could be…

She’s cute…

…Oh no. She’s cute. "O-Oh…! Ah…yes, I’ve been there before." She jumps a little at the smaller girl’s question, but laughs it off quietly when it’s not as bad as she’d expected. And, with this…she didn’t have to lie, either. She had been there before…technically. Something flashes across her face at the mention of her friend’s father, and she turns away a little to hide it, pretending to pick at something on her skirt.

"R-Right…you should call him before we go…so he knows where you are—" The last time she’d seen him…

Madoka was too busy pulling her phone from her bag to notice her friend's reaction to her mention of him. She looked back over at the raven-haired young woman, her smile every bit as bright as it had been the moment before. Her voice rang out, after a second's pause, quickly and as excitedly as if she had been talking to one of her closer friends.

"Right! Papa would worry if I was home late without telling him, and I don't want him to have to ask Sayaka-chan or Hitomi-chan's parents where I am! So, I'll be back in just a minute, Homura-chan!"

With that, she smiled once more, before walking out into the hall where she could call her father without breaking the school's rules about phones in classrooms.
