Also so far I think the ppl that legit argued so hard about ‘Deltarune isn’t related to Undertale at all!’ are feeling pretty silly now. I haven’t even finished the chapter yet (so don’t be a butt. Don’t spoil), and the clear parallels were SUPPOSED to identify based on our knowledge of Undertale are clearly there.

They’re not just Easter eggs. Maybe I’ll make a video about it all. But I’ll never forget that one person who told me ‘erm you’re looking too deep at a bunch of Easter eggs. This is a different game!’

I forgot to post these edits I made on here 😭. Don’t get me wrong I’m super interested in Valko…but I hate hate HATE when characters that are meant to have animalistic traits like animal ears still have their human ears at the same time. As a furry artist, it’s a huge pet peeve. There’s literally no reason to still have the human ears.

And no it doesn’t matter if they’re not permanent or retractable or whatever. (Already had some dummies try to argue that on TikTok). That literally doesn’t change the point in the slightest. If they’re meant to shift, then just…shift the human ears into wolf ears?? Not just have them pop out at the most awkward placement of the very top of his head in addition to his human ears? You don’t have caleb’s robot arm pop out as a whole third limb in addition to his regular arms. You replace one of them. Same concept.

My edits aren’t perfect, I just quickly drew over them on my drawing app on my phone after seeing people do their own redesigns. So I got the idea. But I wanted to give the gist of what I meant. An incredibly easy fix that actually looks anatomically right and natural.

For those of you that care about details, you’re welcome.

For those who don’t care, this is just my opinion as an artist and someone who enjoys animalistic qualities on characters and furries and such. You don’t have to agree and quite frankly I don’t care if you don’t.

Why do you believe ex and current TADC are not allowed to criticize the show or Goose and the cast's racist past? Just because you still like the show doesn’t mean everyone else has to anymore, and you should respect, coming from someone who is also proship.

Where did I say I believed that? Genuinely where. And why are you assuming that’s what I’m saying? Pancakes and waffles dude. I really don’t care if you don’t like something I do enjoy, but for a proshipper you’re falling into a lot of fallacies that antis perpetuate when it comes to ‘problematic media’. Don’t force your own opinion onto me or put words in my mouth. Nowhere have I ever said people have to like something I like. I think there can be VALID criticisms to discuss. But when we are nitpicking nothing burger shitpost tweets as evidence of a person being the incarnation of satan, nitpicking every little thing (like going ballistic about goose saying ‘I dont care’ or genuinely believing they ‘changed the ending to be bad’), cherry picking what we take as ‘literal objective facts and statements’ and calling things ‘bad writing’ and ‘shit’ based on…frankly nothing…Yeah. I’m glad you’re leaving.

I don’t want you to be here. I don’t want toxic people in fandom and any proshipper that understands the basics of this type of online discourse would understand that. You can have your criticism about how a cast member behaved or whatever they said or did. I never said you couldn’t and I certainly never said I ‘believed everyone should still like it because I do’ like…no? If anything I’m glad for anyone that decided they don’t like something anymore and have done the mature thing and moved on.

One good thing about TADC ending—

All the annoying haters are gonna get bored and move on to complain about something else that’s more relevant that can give them that attention.

Because it’s all just a trend to them. They act performative about their activism towards something, then forget all about it when it’s no longer main stream or relevant online. So I’ll be glad when the fandom finally settles down after those trend hoppers filter on out.

Hi! I’m so sorry for responding so late! For some reason I didn’t get any kind of notification 😭

It’s not discontinued! I fully intend to come back and post again as soon as I’m able! Life took a turn and I’ve been fairly busy, but rest assured my AU and Harvey in general has been hanging out in the back of my mind even while I juggle all the irl stuff or manage to post the few things I’ve been able to post that aren’t related here and there. I’ve barely had any time to draw 😭

I’m hoping to plot out some comics maybe? If I can make time, I’ve been wanting to do comics in general as practice even if they’re very simple…

Anyways, yeah! I haven’t forgotten this au at all, trust! If anything I definitely plant to make some updates!

If you give the main character of your fanfic a NAME, it is AN OC. NOT A READER INSERT.

You do not need to use y/n or reader throughout your fic for it to be a canon x reader. Just DO NOT NAME THEM OR GIVE THEM DISTINCT PHYSICAL TRAITS. Unless you tag the reader with those traits because that’s what you want to write for (for example; height!reader, ethnicity!reader, haircolor!reader, etc.) and does not use a name, you should not be used the x reader tag on AO3.

Some of you may not care, but those of us who care about preserving a tagging system that WORKS, and want to actually be able to successfully filter tags, DO CARE. And you should too if you at all care about the fandom spaces you are in. People in fandom actually care about fandom etiquette and understand the harm cross tagging and incorrectly tagging things causes.

And yes, this goes for the opposite as well. Do not tag OC fics as readers (and yes giving reader a name counts). Do not tag a reader fic as an OC fic.

The literacy crisis is so interesting to me, especially when you’re in both book communities and fanfiction communities.

Because why is the hate towards first person POV in book communities coming from people who are reading these books like they’re self inserts (they aren’t), and thus their biggest complaint is ‘well I wouldn’t do any of that’

But then you have fanfic readers hating first person POV for the opposite reason, that being they prefer second person because they need the author to specify ‘you’ as in the reader, due to them not being capable of reading a story that’s actually meant to be a self insert with ‘I’ and ‘me’ in it (because for some reason first person isn’t being seen in this context as ‘it’s meant to be your perspective’, it’s being seen somehow as a different character or even the author…because the author isn’t saying ‘you’…like you’re treating fanfiction like it’s someone speaking to you and not a story you’re actually meant to immerse yourself into)

Like…the literacy crisis is just reaching new heights and phenomena at this point.

I’m practicing more with Kandi and ended up making Archie from DAWM :3 really happy with how this turned out! I drew a little quick doodle to refrence and ended up using purple for his hair outline and eyelids to make town pop a bit more. I think I’ll turn this into a necklace.
