Guys. I just realized that Lilo is putting a curse on her friends. But like, an actual curse. Vinegar is commonly used in curses, and pickles have vinegar. And then she has little figures of her “friends”, drawn with expressions. Then putting them in the pickle jar, and shaking it. Another sign of a curse. I don’t know why I just noticed this now, but lilo is a witch.

Hii!! This wound was on this cactus when we bought him several weeks ago. It’s hard to tell if it is getting better, or worse. Either way it is happening slowly. Any idea what it is, and if we can do anything to help it to heal itself? It’s a trichocereus bridgesii and Peruvian hybrid. Thanks for your time! (:

I can see why the blackened area would concern you. Usually when cacti are injured they’ll heal over with a greyish brown scab. When it goes black like this its a sign that it may be rotting in that area. Personally, I’d use a sharp knife and gouge out the questionable area. It’ll leave it with a noticeable chunk taken out of it, but a battle scar is better then letting it rot to death.

Today, I fucked up... by following my kid down the stairs while I was carrying a box

Last night I had to bring a rather large box down the stairs and my 3 year old was already halfway down. I began my descent, slowly one step at a time.

Unfortunately 3 year olds tend to be quite short so I didn’t realise she had stopped…..until I knee’d that poor kid in the back and sent her flying. Luckily our stairs curve round so she didn’t have far to fly and she bounced off the wall quite safely. A little lip cut nothing horrific.

Bedtime comes so it’s time to say goodnight to her Dad (he works very late and did not witness the ‘incident’) on FaceTime. Thinking I’d got away with it I left them to chat before I hear 'OH, and mummy kicked me down the stairs’. She offered him no explanation just told him that and said goodnight. Her Dad is now probably weighing up the costs of some hidden cameras to check what the hell I do to this child while he’s at work.

TL;DR heavy box blocked my stairs view, I kicked my child down stairs, she grassed me up instantly to her dad at work.
