Just thinking about making a castlevania fancomic wich take place in Japan

Thanks to season 3, we know that Japenese humans don't have access to the gear necessary to kill vampires. So we can assume that feudal society was ruled by powerful vampire clans who always fought over territory. In that case, apart from a few incompetent vampire-hunting organizations, most humans would be enslaved or used as pets. Blood being a primary food source for high society, vampires would invest not in fields or rice paddies, but in human farms.

This seems sooo dark yet such a interesing concept.

so here’s jin and lord shimura as kiso horses/ponies!!

kiso horses were traditionally samurai mounts so i just saw it fitting. had to tackle with whether i’d make him a horse or a fox but the visual comedy of him being this big horse next to all his small commoner companions made me giggle hoo hoo…

What gifts would Ghost of Tsushima's characters give to their s/o ?

⚠️TW ! My awful english+ it’s may be cringe⚠️

Jin : He's a romantic guy, i guess. He would offer them some fresh and colorfull flowers wich remind him of his lover or maybe he would wirte haïkus about them. He dosen’t have many opportunities but he love to spoil his s/o.

Shimura : A lord like him would offer something of value like silk kimono, jewelry, perfume or even a pretty hairpin to decorate his lover’s hair. He can affrod that, as jito he is really rich after all. His s/o will be fulfielld.

Yuna : She dosen’t really get the principle of "gifts". As a thief she's used to taking what she and her s/o really need. Food, care equipment, fur coat. Gifts isn’t in her love langage. Exeptionnally she would give them something that’s really means to her. Like a family bracelet.

Taka : He would definetly craft his own gift ! Taka would take time to apply himself, never convicted of having done a good job. He could forge a sword for his s/o ,an usefull accessoiry, or even a armor like he did for Jin. His gifts are always the best handmades.

Ryuzo : Like Yuna, gifts isn’t his love langage at first glance. But he offten share his food with his s/o making himself sure they eat their fill. He would give them some fruits he found in the wood or rice bags.

Kenji : Free sake and other stuff he dug up in hazy circumstances.

Norio : He would offer a lucky charm to his s/o. A talisman that has spiritual value. As if it could soothe the soul and the spirit or even protect against mean spirits. His wishes are the best gift he can offer to his s/o.

Ishikawa : (idk i don’t like Ishikawa) *cough* *cough* A bow, i guess, so that his s/o can defend themself and manage on their own.

Masako : She really love spoiling her s/o. After her family’s death she tought she was not able to find love anymore. So now she have someone new in her life, she would offer them anything they want in order to make them comfortable. But the most important thing she can give is her confidence and her listening.

Khotun Khan : A horse and not just any horse. The most powerful and untamable hors he could find. That way he can have fun watching his s/o struggle for hours. However, when he is in a good mood, he can offer them the decapitated head of someone that his s/o despises.

cats or dogs?

game and modern aus:

jin: both. all animals. he looovveeess nature and he loves animals by extension. he cant pick 💔

lord shimura: has never really considered it, but probably cats cs theyre quiet and easy to take care of for the most part

kazumas: doesnt like having pets. weirdo

yuna: both, but has a sliiight preference for dogs

taka: dogs, he loves their energy! but he does still like cats, but much prefers dogs

ryuzo: dogs, he doesnt get along with cats very well. he likes high energy, big dogs so he can roughhouse with them, which is why he has a shiba inu named momo in my modern au! :3

lady masako: cats, she’s indifferent to dogs

sensei ishikawa: cats, theyre chill and independent

norio: both! he likes dogs for their playfulness, and cats for their curiosity. he thinks theyre funny little creatures (they are)

kenji: scared of both, so neither. he cant explain why though 😭

aesthetic and clothing style

modern au:

jin - sometimes dress casual, but mostly casual-comfy clothes

shimura - business. hes really professional

kazumasa - at home, probably random jeans and a t-shirt, but in public he was fairly professional.

yuna - graphic tees, zip-up hoodies, normal hoodies, shorts, very casual and always wears a headband ☝️

taka - sweaters, t-shirts, jackets, also always wears a headband?? headband twins ig

ryuzo - streetwear with the occasional goth fit. i stole the goth ryuzo hc from someone but i forgot who. sorry diva if you see this. but anyways: tank-tops, shorts, jeans, etc

lady masako - lightweight clothes, casual dresses, sweaters, etc

sensei ishikawa - girl idk idgaf about him /j UHM. t-shirts. boring old man.

norio - tank tops, zip-up hoodies, graphic tees, doesnt like sweaters and normal hoodies

kenji - literally anything thats comfy. he dgaf

hobbies? 

modern au:

jin - similar to in-game, but he likes poetry, but in this au dabbled in songwriting when he was younger. he didn’t wanna be a singer, it was just for fun. he also paints sometimes and likes whittling little animals like foxes.

shimura - too busy currently for hobbies, but he enjoys cooking savory foods — hes not much of a baker — and fishing.

kazumasa - was also too busy for hobbies, but he liked fishing with shimura, and also wrestled in his younger years.

yuna - archery, dog walking for money… so kind of a side hustle… oops…, swimming, photography + filming. she has a blog thats purely for her and her friends where she just takes little videos of silly or cute moments in the friend group that include her, taka, jin and ryuzo. 

taka - pottery, woodworking, scrapbooking, dabbles in photography because of yuna

ryuzo - he likes to paint with jin, but thats kind of it

lady masako - retired archer, but still does archery as a hobby. also enjoys going on walks and jogs. she also enjoys being retired, like a diva ❤️

sensei ishikawa - teaches archery as a job, but besides that doesnt do a whole lot.

norio - volunteers at local churches and communities, and enjoys gaming! meta… /silly

kenji - drinking. and collecting i guess.

nicknames? pet names?

modern au:

jin - hates pet names but loves stupid nicknames for his friends and family. he calls shimura unc sometimes to piss him off… it works every time…

shimura - doesnt like nicknames, especially stupid ones. refer to last headcanon.

kazumasa - liked generic pet names w/ partners, liked stupid nicknames. if he was still alive, he’d probably laugh at jin’s nickname antics but tell him to stop and focus on whatever he was supposed to be doing

yuna - thinks pet names are weird (damn we got a lot of haters here) but also likes stupid nicknames, but only for jin. she usually just calls him a dumbass and other profanities. she doesnt give taka funny nicknames because hes too nice for her to tease, even as a big sister 💔 

taka - thinks pet names are cute, prefers cute names over teaseful ones (how is teaseful not a word. like nicknames that are tease- you get what i mean.)

ryuzo - hates pet names, calls jin profanities a lot, especially if theyre playing a game. hes very competitive…

lady masako - likes pet names w/ partners, loves to tease her friends and younger peers.

sensei ishikawa - doesnt like pet names, loves to straight up bully DID YOU DO HIS QUESTLINE omg dont pmo…

norio - thinks pet names are cute, likes nicknames that are cute, mean, stupid, etc

kenji - indifferent to pet names, loves to tease but not necessarily through nicknames
