I went to the symphony this weekend with a friend and he wanted to get me a drink before it started because it's my birthday this week. I'm not super into cocktails but I tried to pick something out. Neither he (nor the bartender) knew what I was talking about so I had what he was having instead. It just dawned on me that I was trying to order a Dim & Gusty.

Making big promises with that cover image! 😂 Don’t get too excited. And all the words, words, words in this one! But there are things that need to be said for the flashback and for current day to know what they’re dealing with.

Some context: Elena was the family’s maid when Noe was a child. Old man Landgraab is probably Nancy’s father; Axl goes to school with Malcolm so Nancy and Geoffrey would be contemporaries of Noe and Antonia. Noe’s family was well off but they didn’t have Landgraab money. About the alien stories, we saw in the last flashback, Noe was abducted as a child but he doesn’t remember it. At some point, I’m going to have to address the whole alien question, the kids being who they are, so I think I’m just going to leave those questions here.

as much as we criticize the "big" cc-creators for creative bancruptcy and the way they try to profit as much as possible with the least amount of effort, we really need to concentrate the same energy into uplifiting the creators who are always free and/or bring new, creative and amazing ideas to the table btw!

Antonia getting her Disney Princess on. 😂 And a bit of a rapprochement. Noe’s trying, okay?

Just in case you need a character refresher: Fergus made an appearance in the first flashback. He’s a fox. Honestly, this whole story came out of my desire to sing with the foxes in Henford so . . . . Augie is Antonia’s aunt from whom she inherited the house. Antonia spent a lot of time with her when she was younger.

And just about that last slide, it’s probably nothing anyone’s ever noticed but I’ve always maintained (in my own head) that there’s storage space under the stairs that’s accessed through a little hatch on the patio. At some point, I added a pet door just as an indicator and the fam sometimes references getting things out of storage. This is where they mean and I finally built it! But what is Antonia looking for? (I actually keep pose teleporters under the stairs so I had to move them out of the way to make room for Antonia's junk.)

I made this sim for @butteredfrogs create-a-frog challenge! I got the Argentine horned frog and I rolled blue skin, but I decided to apply it to the frog instead of the sim LOL Rana comes from old money so she doesn't give a shit! I went for a classic casual look and chose colors that matched her namesake frog. I had to make her a glutton because her frog is a voracious eater. They're aggressive too so I gave her the ambitious trait. And finally, Loves the Outdoors because frog! This was a lot of fun!
