Hey I'm going into my third season of rowing. I'm a coxswain and I row bow seat, two seat, and stroke seat,

The boys and I had a great days. Came soooooo close to second place. I'm so proud of them considering this was their first regatta! We are determined to win a medal next week!

I was trying to dock our boat at crew practice and as we got closer I saw that there was a 2.5 foot alligator sitting on the dock blocking us and my first thought was “this is annoying. oh well, it’ll move when we get closer” and only now do I realize that for the out of state rowers this was probably terrifying because people outside florida don’t really assume you’ll treat a gator in your way like a bird walking across the road
