I think we need to constantly be reminded that Roy Mustang is like that(besides all his fucking trauma) because his aunt is a madam and he grew up among prostitutes and call girls who were also regularly using the information they gathered for a spy network. Roy is basically using the skills of prostitute to stay one step ahead of everyone so he can get to the top. And it works.

Another of my favorite royed tropes in fics: Roy loves spoiling Ed, mainly with food and or his book collection on alchemy, and that Ed is so genuinely easy to spoil if he let's himself be spoiled. Partly because their alchemists. But if you give Ed food and books hes just so happy and content. Which is honestly so relatable, I to would fall so easily love with a hot person if they wanted to feed me and give me books.
