There was much to be said about a post-pre-pro pre-pilot party, but whenever Naveed had been involved in one he ended up getting into trouble. On the set of The Workplace, he'd hooked up with someone who ended up being married to one of his costars which made it even easier to recast the "cute delivery guy" who shows up once every few episodes. It's why he tried to play it cool in the corner, there was only so much he could get away with right now. Best for him to behave and not get too " social ".
But, of course, it was only a few minutes before he thought he saw someone maybe look in his direction and easily he stepped out of the shadow of the props trailer. "Okay, okay," he said, raising his hands in surrender. "You caught me in my hiding spot."
Royce let out a small laugh, his lips curling up in the demure and wry smile that once earned him extra fans. He'd get a little nervous when a TV show host shared one of his more embarrassing stories (that he'd approved) and then suddenly the people went wild for it. He's not just hot, he's so adorable! Wow, even Royce Galloway can be shy! It made him feel a little better for the fact he couldn't always display that riveting and charismatic confidence that he was much more known for.
Prior to Mystery Inc.'s set, it had been years since he had seen Naveen, and even more years since their little moment. But it was a difficult thing to forget, especially now. Especially since, if the rumours were ever confirmed, Royce suspected his old fans wouldn't be all too pleased. But Royce didn't regret it; he didn't regret most of his flirtations and trysts. Art was love, and love was art.
"Not like you to be confined to a hiding spot, Nav." He chuckled, scratching at a well-cut patch of beard. "Where's your drink?" Royce lifted up his own, taking a long swig. At least his sister was too busy talking to the charming set gaffer to pay Royce any heed at the moment. It had been far too long since he was able to indulge himself in fancy alcoholic drinks.
