{beast-y boy}
( mr. grumpy gills ):
âHey Beast-y Boy,â Speedy announced in greeting as he walked through the door into the Titansâ living room. He, along with Garth, were in the city for a bit on various business, and Roy wanted to drop by to see his old pals. It had been a little while, as he had been quite busy with his own team stationed across the country.Â
The green Titan seemed glued to the TV screen, and Roy wasnât even sure if he was even being heard. He walked up and waved his hand in front of him. âAnything good on the boobtube?â
heâd heard the doors slide open. footsteps. two voices he easily recognized and dismissed as âiâll greet'em at the commercialsâ. itâd been weeks that heâd waited for this docu-whatever on black-tipped reef sharks, and he reeeaaally didnât want to miss anything ( even if heâd checked to make sure it was recording, like, four times ). unfortunately, it seems the stars just arenât aligned for that. not in the cards today.
garâs spine stiffens as a hand smears the air a few inches from his nose, and he turns to see roy leaning over the back of the couch. he lets out a snort, one ear lifting as the other parallels the floor.
     â yeah, dude. thatâs kinda why iâm watching it. â
Speedy snorted, and he averted his gaze to the large screen. Seemed to be some documentary on sea life. He could see Aqualad stare intently at the program, and Speedy rolled his eyes before giving him a nudge, reminding that he had come here to speak to Robin. Garth reluctantly excused himself and went to find the Titans leader, leaving the archer and Beast Boy alone in the living room.
âHuh, Iâm not really into shark things unless a new Sharknado came out,â Speedy scoffed as he stared at the screen. Beast Boy seemed really into it for some reason. âOr Jaws, I liked that movieâŠâÂ
A thought suddenly bounced into his head. A dim lightbulb in the halls of his mind.
âHey Beast Boy- Can you turn into a shark? âCause that would be sick.âÂ
