the way rr/tierney introduce ilya is so funny to me because when you first see him you're just like jeez this guy is such an asshole why is he like this. and then seconds later it's just like um it's because he has a 1) dead mom 2) who killed herself 3) an abusive dad 4) with alzheimers 5) a brother 6) who verbally abuses him on the phone 7) when ilya refuses to wire him 50 bands all at once 8) all while he spends new years eve all alone in the grossest motel you've ever seen 9) and he's bisexual.

Just your trusted met gala anon here - I can say season 2 press will be done very differently than season 1. From what I have heard from sources, both the boys and their teams know that it was a bad idea to not do more press together and it was just bad planning as they did not expect the show to blow up the way it did (and I don’t think anyone did).
I think we will see them do a lot more interviews such as VF lie detector test, buzzfeed puppies and others and it will most likely be months if not weeks worth of press. They’ll also do more brand deals or collabs together.
There was a push from their teams to forge their own identity and that was bit of a fail as it caused a huge amount of hate and solos to appears. I know the boys think if they did more press together it wouldn’t have gotten this bad.
So I think everyone should be excited for season 2 and I think a certain someone will be long gone so we won’t have them hanging around either.
