Biography/Summary:
Roger grew up fast. Their parents were inconsistent, loud, and more focused on survival than nurturing. Roger stepped in instinctively. Packed lunches. Walked them to school. Learned how to stretch groceries. She was one year older than Rosalie, two than Randy, but she felt like their mother by thirteen.
Her transition began quietly in her early twenties. Loud is chaotic but not always kind. She transitioned slowly, carefully, supported fiercely by her siblings. She works at a small bakery in Loud, arriving before dawn to avoid crowds. The smell of sugar and yeast calms her. Kneading dough feels like grounding herself.
She does not resent raising them. She loves them. They raised her too, in the ways siblings do when the world is loud and sharp.

Roger believes in found safety. In small joys. In routines that keep monsters away. She does not pray loudly but leaves coins at small shrines in Loud when she passes them.

I love you systems who don't know their headcount, don't know who's fronting, have no headspace or a very vague one, are blurry almost constantly, don't know their split tolerance, don't know their alters appearances, their alters names, anything about their alters, systems who have no or next to no communication.
Systems who experience these things often feel left out or invalidated in their experiences because of Internet culture around alters with osddid. We definitely did. To any system who experiences these things, you're valid, you're welcomed, and you're loved. It's okay to not know everything about your system. Especially in early treatment or with those who can't get treatment.

We were trying to explain to some friends earlier that saying "this person is in front" and "this person is co-conscious" isn't always the most useful phrasing for us because either of those terms can mean a lot of different things. We have our own words that we like to use to describe where folks can be in relation to our awareness.
The states on this chart are still a bit of a simplification, as we flow between them and it's more of a spectrum than a discrete set, but they're close enough to the actual language that we use to do the job.
