"Hey Clem.. [sighs] how's it going?"
"Ben!" She cried, excited to see him. She did like everyone left in the survivor group. Ben was just very kind to her, and anyone who was nice to her definitely deserved to be treated nicely in return! "Hi. I’m okay. How about you?" She paused, catching Ben’s sigh.
"…You don’t sound okay…"
"Oh god.. Clem, I’m… crap…" His voice faded. Ben could tell that how he was acting was making her slightly upset. He forced himself to smile a bit, but his thoughts were eating away at him.
"I just.. miss my parents.. and my little sister. Y-You remind me a lot of her, I guess. I wish I knew what happened to them." Ben’s soft smile faded.
"Swear!" Clementine scolded, her eyes hardening, though gently. She was aware that being harsh towards Ben right now was such a terrible thing to do right now. She retracted her fierceness and softened.
"…I…I feel the same way about my parents. I want to find them." Clementine replied, her eyes focused on Ben’s ever-changing emotions. "I-I just want everyone to be okay. I don’t want anybody else to die, and I really don’t want your sister or parents to be dead either." She added, her gaze softening and tears hiding behind it.
"Oh no, p-please don't cry..." Ben looked around in hopes of finding someone to help comfort her, but to no avail. "Clem, I'm sorry... no body else will die.. I'm sure everyone is fine..." Ben shut his eyes closed and pressed his fingers against his forehead very roughly. "I'm never good with these types of things." He re-opened his eyes and stared back at Clementine seemingly upset. Ben's guilt kicked in and he felt awful for downing Clem's mood.
"But," Ben tried to ignore the aching pain in his chest and change the mood of the conversation, "Lee's orders were to keep you safe. I'll try my hardest to do that. I... I can't let him down again." His eyes flickered to the ground. "No one will die ever again because of me, I promise." He muttered under his breath.
"Where is Lee, anyways?" He asked.
"Hey Clem.. [sighs] how's it going?"

"…You don’t sound okay…"
"I-it’s nothing, really Clem. You don’t have to worry about it. I just… have a lot on my mind, I’m sorry."
"You’re a kid, you wouldn’t understand.." Ben pauses and sighs again; thinking he should not have said that. Clementine, at times, acted like more of an adult than he could ever be.
"But Ben, w-we should stick together and… talk to each other." Clementine protested. She certainly wasn’t an adult, but she could at least try. Besides, Ben was her friend! Everyone there was her friend.
"Um, I can try to… understand, I guess." She replied, her eyes sad. Somehow, everyone’s sadness or depression managed to get to her. She just wanted to see everyone happy. At all times. She did not want ANYONE to die. "I know I’m little, but…" She trailed off.
"Oh god.. Clem, I'm... crap..." His voice faded. Ben could tell that how he was acting was making her slightly upset. He forced himself to smile a bit, but his thoughts were eating away at him.
