I hope my first game turns out okay, I know it won't be the best- but good enough to not be considered horrid- at least I have a little faith in my art. I hope it's gonna be ready for December 12th

I have implemented Ao's gifting and diary now, and Aubrey's gifting, but not their diary.
I don't know if I've mentioned that, actually, regarding adding the diary entries? I am sure I must have. But they go up to 50 points right now - up until the mark where you would date the candidate, although of course dating isn't coded at all right now.
Anyway, just a small update is all! Wanted to announce Ao and Aubrey's gifting completion and such. Now, 9 candidates can be gifted things!
Here's a little gif of how the first area's looking so far. It's mostly rough placeholder graphics but it's certainly coming together. Ignore the default RPG maker sky, I'll be drawing a different graphic for it eventually

Story: Shinomiya Keichi is a vice president of the pharmaceutical company and a brilliant scientist. Once upon a time he left home and never returned. Seven years have passed since then. His assistant, the last person, who has seen him alive, is currently serving a sentence for serial killings and refuses to talk about Keichi’s disappearance. And Keichi’s son, Misaki, is constantly plagued by vivid nightmares. One day Misaki receives the email from the person, who claims to know his father whereabouts. Desperate to see his father again Misaki decides to check these claims.
Content Warning: strong language, suggestive themes, partial nudity, references to drugs and alcohol, minor horror elements (including few jumpscares). Also in-game humor and some scenes/dialogues can be seen as either upsetting or offensive.
Main Characters:
Shinomiya Misaki (15 years old) – high school student, whose father vanished under mysterious circumstances. Independent and a bit cynical for his age. Possesses a gift of offensive magic, but doesn’t really know what to do with it.
Akiyama Teru (23 years old) – Misaki’s homeroom teacher with childish personality. Likes to read, watch TV and play video games. Tends to quickly loose his temper.
Kurosaki Tsutomu (15 years old) – Misaki’s classmate and the leader of the local gang of delinquents. Calm and level-headed, he prefers to keep people at a distance.
I thought: "The living are the abyss, the dead the sun." The former dangerously draws all eyes to it; the latter makes it difficult to look long. Only they can gaze at the audience— transcendently, with no guilt. But all I can do, is just simply, look away.

beautiful and gorgeous game. such a strong use of visual metaphors and imagery, my magical realism lover ass was eating everything up like if this was my last day on earth. what an experience. honestly don't have much to add because i don't want to spoil anything and this is only act 1 of a much bigger story, but it's left me with such an impact already. Anna reminds me so much to the women i have met in my life and seeing her story unravel throughout the course of this was painful. all so painfully real to me. it got me ok. i'm so excited for a new chapter you have no idea
