What's your favorite part of creating a character?

my favorite part is compiling references for my characters. i like to use music, pinterest, and quotes to shape my creative direction

referencing without stealing is difficult, so i tend to have a lot of pieces to take from so it doesn't look like a ripoff of someone else's oc.

take a color palette, outfit, and features of 3 different images and you'll have a character with a good design ^^
