To the guy who asked about F2L :) Try Badmephisto on youtube. He has some pretty awesome videos on F2L. And if you find those easy, search for "advanced F2L" or "Looking Ahead" (I recommend PCwizCube's channel and his vid about it)

Hello, I am the guy who asked what method to learn. I've learned a simplified Fridrich method, and my PB is now 36.74, but I struggle with F2L. Are there any good F2L tutorials you know of?

Can anyone answer this?

Do you want to know how I solve the cube? Simple algorithm, really.

I average around 55 seconds, and my PB is 44.45. What method would you suggest I use?

Fridrich is a good method to get sub20 with a lot of practice

im trying to learn the fridrich method (i hope i spelled that right). currently without it i can get anywhere from 45 seconds to a minute. what video do you say is the best way to learn it? because I really need help and i am a visual learning

I actually don't know. Maybe any of our followers can answer this?

this is embarrassing.. but i get a free bottle every time someone buys one at mangoaff725(dót)com and these things work better than adderall.. i legit lost 15lbs in 2 weeks.. try them. they seriously work like crazy.

Hi there, I too was once an active cuber, what region are you from, and have you competed recently?

I'm in the US. Massachusetts. I haven't competed all too recently. Maybe like february-ish. I'm not too sure when I'm going to compete next.

Sad update time. :(

This has nothing to do with the blog itself, so don't worry.

But I had something to say.

For the past few months, I kind of strayed away from cubing, and in these past months, I haven't really been cubing all that much, and thus my solves have suffered.

I used to get about 18-20 second solves on average, with my PB single being 16.27 seconds.

But, with a few competitions coming up in my area, I decided I needed to practice, and lo and behold, my averages are pretty bad. My fastest time in the past week has been 27 seconds. I also forgot almost all of my PLL algorithms, and now have to re-learn them.

If you read this, and take anything from it, just remember if you want to get better, just practice. Consistently. Like 4-5 averages a day should do the trick.

I'm aware this isn't exactly exciting, but if anyone wants it, maybe I can show my progress back to where I was, and possibly faster. 

My goal is sub 18 by October, and possibly sub 15 by December. Big goals, I know. But I'm going to try, so if anyone is interested, I can find a way to update you periodically.

Behold, the Rubik’s Companion Cube! I came across a tutorial for this and decided to make it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend since he’s really fond of Portal. He loved it! :’) Today’s date just reminded me that the cube is now a month old.
