Duela carefully watched him from afar, trying her hardest to be sneaky. Deep down her inner fan girl was screeching. There he was, Robin. The other teen wouldn’t ever like to admit it, but he was a bit of a inspiration for her. She took a breath and readjusted the strap on her bag o’ tricks.
The clown girl walked as softly as possible towards him. Holding in her chuckles at the rare luck of running into him. She smiled unnaturally wide and stopped a few feet behind him. Duela’s hand was inside her bag, ready and willing to pull out one of her toys if needed.
“The sky is just lovely right now, isn’t it?” Her voice sounded friendly enough, for now. Hints of manic giggles were creeping out of her.
Robin kept his surprise to himself, though he was genuinely surprised that the other was able to come up to him as quietly as she did. He turned a curious gaze toward her, wondering how he hadn’t noticed her to begin with. He was on edge to begin with, and after observing her for a few seconds, tried to hide the biting edge that something was off.
“It is. I haven’t been home in some time. It’s good to take a moment and enjoy the city.” Robin tried to pass as calm, keeping his voice even and light. The strange noises that were coming from her reminded him of someone, but he was determined not to judge preemptively. “What brings you out tonight?”
