I love the fact that Keith had his hair done in Allura's style (the side braids and tiny ponytail in the back). It also reminds me of the time Keith took Allura's place in one of the episodes (the one with the snow planet (I don't remember the title)).

I apparently started this WIP back in August and FINALLY got the vibe for it. And reusing the posters in the background of this previous one because I'll be damned if I drew ALL of them again. And I didn't want to leave the walls bare. Anyway! Some Katie (in a witch AU of VF being Pidge's kid sister) having a chat. If memory serves right, it was @toastess-with-the-mostess who mused about the idea that Katie keeps being a witch a secret because of Haggar kinda putting a bad mindset for others towards witches. But Daniel and Katie both have their secrets. But Daniel's is less of a choice (he didn't choose the infection, though he did fail to tell the rest of the team and now for the AU he's got a cat form and still infected) while Katie chose magic. But it's possible that it's less of a choice for her, too, and more of a feeling in her that she pursued and couldn't ignore.

So, having some Realities Collide with Witch, Please! thoughts, Lance of VF teaching our lovely witch Katie a bit with combat, getting her to manifest her magic for powered up hits, kinda like when he (Lance) "shows off with his fists" with his voltcom. And I think this is adorably fun and perfect for them. He's so proud of this little witch he might be seeing as a little sister.

So, some days back, I saw this post of a man feeding a kitten on the subway and I had to redraw it for Voltron stuff. And I debated between Mama Paladin and this. Ended up with this, with Thace feeding itty bitty Pidge, when she's still young enough before her ears get more pointy and her freckles mellow out into their identifying orange.

It's popped up a couple times in my daydream, but I had a sort of fantasy coffee shop au thought with Vince working part time in a coffee shop and Katie either visiting a lot or sending Rover, her dragon, to fetch her coffee when she'd be busy studying, which both confused and intrigued Vince. Until he met Katie and develops a bit of a crush on her. And I think it's cute. Also, can someone please just side those croissants closer to Rover? He really wants them.

Off and on for a while, a thought struck me. "What if the team comes across actual zombies? And what if they aren't entirely bad, unlike most, if not all, Drule in VF?" And so my brain played out with various ideas of an undead army of Drule protecting ancient ruins on a planet holding great secrets. But they didn't fight on behalf of the empire, but rather that planet and those who worked with it. And they've been dead for centuries, still continuing their work. Well, I eventually had a Realities Collide with Witch, Please! thought and Daniel and Katie truly are just vibing, making a new friend kinda. Hey, at least now Vince can apologize VF Pidge for calling the infected Baltons in VF episode 16 "zombies", because they were just mind controlled. Big guy back there? He's an actual zombie.
