Out Of The Woods - @rubytrainermaxwell & @pokemonrevengeversion
Technically this was all his fault.
Alright, so all of it was his fault. Still, he hadn’t thought that having one pokemon would make everything so hard on the both of them. Once he’d gotten everything squared away with his training license and picked his pokemon, he’d immediately set out with getting as far away from Littleroot as fast as possible. Which had meant putting his new Mudkip through her paces. They’d probably defeated every wild pokemon and trainer possible within the three routes they’d explored, without even looking at the idea of a break.
And then, they’d reached Petalburg Woods. And got lost.
"Mona, are you sure your mystical pokemon senses aren’t picking up on anything?"
The answering chirp seemed to be a no, although a very perky one. Seph sighed and looked around, glancing at each tree with sharp attention, as if one of them would suddenly decide to lead him to the correct exit.
The trees remained silent however, so the trainer picked up the Mudkip and carrying her carefully She squealed happily, her front legs moving spastically, and he chuckled as he walked to the nearest tree and sat down on it’s curled roots, placing the pokemon in his lap.
"I would prefer not to stay in this bug infested forest for even a minute longer-” the trainer glanced up quickly to make sure no bug pokemon were above him in the tree “-but we’re hopelessly loss. And the holocaster has no way to help, unless I wanted to let everyone on the holofeed know I was lost. Which I am so not doing.”
Desdemona nodded her head, look on her face serious as she listened to her trainers whining.
"So it appears, despite our being the perfect team, we’re going to need someone who can find entrances and exits. Because as far as I’m concerned, getting lost is not an option anymore." Crossing his arm, Seph leaned back, resting his head on the tree.
Well, someone would come along, sooner or later. Nothing to do now but wait. And hope.
