While I was trying to figure out ego renegade boy but it’s a tma character (I’ll prob return to that idea later, bear with me for now), I ended up with an idea.
Okay, okay hear me out on this. What if Sasha was transfem and everyone kinda knew this because of how open her and Tim were about their pride flags in the office, but when the NotThem replaces her, it shows up as “just a femboy” and nobody can quite understand why that feels so wrong. They don’t bring it up cause they feel like that would be super disrespectful to say especially with how accepting they usually are of breaking gender norms.

OR OR ELDRITCH MARTIN with human nerdy Jon who is scrawny and a bookworm so he doesn’t fit in with all the monster hunters
You guys understand that Jon could never fully sever himself from the Eye right? Even if they went Somewhere Else? He quite literally knew EVERYTHING for the entirety of s5 and then he sat in the panopticon and became not only the Archivist/the Archive but ALSO the Pupil. He is the closest anyone has ever been to the Eye, closer than even Jonah at that point because while Jonah was the Pupil for longer, he wasn’t also the Archivist/Archive, so at the end Jon held more positions of power than him. There is NO WAY he doesn’t go through withdrawal when he arrives Somewhere Else from the lower quantity of knowledge exposed to him, and after that he definitely still needs the Eye both physically so it doesn’t feed on him AND because he probably doesn’t know how to exist without being part of the Eye anymore.
Headcanon jon has always been exposed to stim toys of some sort but he doesn’t use them even if he should. Chewable necklaces, tangled toys/the clicks snake ones, spiky rollers, fidget cubes/spinners etc. The whole bunch. He’s seen some when he was living with his gran, but she always spoke negatively about the kids who used them, so he never asked for one. He’s seen some in uni, when georgie and her group of friends tried helping him with his stimming, but the professors would make comments on his use of them when he did give in and try. Nobody straight up told him not to use them, they just kept placing comment after comment until he gave up. It’s been seared into his mind that these things aren’t “normal” to use, or that it’s embarrassing to use them in public, so he doesn’t try to use them anymore and instead just bites his nails and twists rings around his fingers to stim less noticeably.
