Вильфранш, открытое окно на порт (Villefranche, fenetre ouverte sur le port). 1925-1928. Анри Лебаск (Henri Lebasque),(1865-1937)
So, we’re making our own terrariums for our wedding centerpieces. This will be the first of 15-20 being made. There are at least 3 others that have been started. The theme is The Adventures of Bug and Bear! Our characters, Bug and Bear, go on little adventures all the time. These will depict little moments of their lives and journey together. This is their tea party!
This is my soon to be wife and we are making things!!!
This painting is a recreation of Dali's "A Chemist Lifting with Extreme Precaution the Cutical of a Grand Piano." I painter it after seeing the piece at the Kimbell Art Museum in Ft Worth Texas. It was kind of a change of pace for myself and i saw it as a bit of a challenge to find what i could add to a master's work.

this i a painting dear to my heart... and stomach.
Big Mama's Chicken and Waffles. no words can describe how heart broken i was when she closed her drive through windows. i thought it was forever. then fate shown its splendor upon us all and a a "grand re-opening" sign appeared. i had to paint it because it filled me with such joy!

Love Canal was a neighborhood in Niagara Falls, New York. Hooker Chemical sold the site to the Niagara Falls School Board in 1953 for $1. In the mid-1970s Love Canal became the subject of attention after it was revealed that the site had formerly been used to bury 21,000 tons of toxic waste. The mostly middle-class families did not have the resources to protect themselves, and many did not see any alternative other than abandoning their homes at a loss.

I did this painting to remind people of the explosive power the humankind carries with them. On April 16, 1947, a fire on board the SS Grandcamp, its cargo of approximately 2,100 metric tonsof fertilizer (ammonium nitrate) detonated while docked in Texas City. The initial blast and subsequent chain-reaction of further fires and explosions in other ships and nearby oil-storage facilities, killing at least 581 people, including 27 members of the Texas City fire department.

this was based on a sketch i did at work on a post-it note. and then i found the half door thingy in the trash. it's inspired by 2 songs. Kids and Chemicals: out the window and Gordan Lightfoot's: wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
