"Omg how could Spook be your favorite character throughout all three Mistborn books he barely talked in the first two." Listen, Spook throwing a pink handkerchief at a very confused Vin then running away is peak comedy and he's been my favorite cosmere character ever since
"No, Spook and Beldre did get married. He didn't have babies with other women they all came from her they just couldn't keep their hands off each other. That's my true."
My Mistborn era 2 headcanon is that there's a musical about the events of the first books like Hamilton and there's a fandom for it and preteens draw cringe ship art of them and stuff like that. And there's fan girls split into three teams of Elend girls, Kelsier girls, and Spook girls (plus some Vin girls). And they always get mischaracterized in their own universe

Spook writing and talking to himself in his comfortable slang
Follower 1: why is the Lord Mistborn talking like that.. I can't understand him
Follower 2: ...it must be a language of our ancestors, so the great minds of rebellion could speak without the fear of their plans being discovered by the Lord Ruler!
Follower 1: you're right! That's genius! The Lord Mistborn is so clever!
Spook: uh— yeah! Right, it's just a very.. highly sophisticated and secret language.. to keeps secrets, right... hah
As someone who doesn't really read romance novels, the closest I've ever gotten to a dark romance plot is the beginning plot of Spook and Beldre's relationship.
Something I think about a little too much is how it's loosely implied Spook was used to breed more Mistborn after the Era 1 timeline and it was probably Kelsier's idea.
