ngl for my other ocs, I've been apprehensive to give them proper descriptions because I'm wary people won't like them having too much presence. TwT My initial idea was that they would be 'generic anime side-character like', so I didn't have much intention of giving them visual descriptors. I have, however, been imagining both Moku and Haruno to have different hues of light brown hair, with Haruno having them past her shoulders and Moku having a naturally kempt hairstyle, nothing special but reasonable for a middle school boy (unlike his peers...) And since Mizuhara is the tomboy and Hinako's the modest traditional girl, Haruno's a trendy cutesy girl aesthetically. In contrast, Moku's surrounded by the two problem children (and whatever Sena and his luscious locks are doing,) so he's here to pretend to be the good student of the pack. They were genuinely just made to fill in the roster and balance out the dynamics, and I guess it kinda shows? I love them thoooo

I have, unfortunately, not been imagining anything except a strategically indeterminable silhouette whenever Nakagawa-senpai appears to be Sekimori's unwilling senior in crime. But the other day I randomly decided Nakagawa's first name was going to be Hyouga and I've not been able to get that guy from Dr Stone out of my head since. I do not know what to do with this information except subject it to whoever reads this.

Um hi! I was rereading Bitterness for the first time in a while and really loved going through the whole thing again. I want to draw some art of Eda, but I had a question about his hair! I know he bleached it to match with Tamako, but that was before he even started at Totsuki, so is his hair still bleached, or has it grown out at all? Also, where exactly is the placement for the microwave scar?

Anyway, I love all of your stories and only the bitterness remains is definitely one of my favorites to read and see updates on! Thanks so much for writing!

Hiii 💕 i haven't really described him since his second year started, but it has grown out slightly. It's still bleach, and he's due for a touchup on that dye soon! The microwave incident did leave a surgical scar, trailing above his ear on the left side. Somewhere starting from the temple, and it stops before his nape. Though it's usually hidden by his hair unless you brush it back. Otherwise he does have the reincarnation burn birthmark scar across the back of his left hand, shaped vaguely like flames.

okay so. In all honesty, Gin was an impulse add- mainly because Baratie was around the time I decided I wanted to shake up the Strawhats properly to warrant its canon divergence tag, and I figured the easiest way to do it was add to the roster - and come up with an original motivation and backstory. I mainly wanted new interactions and development out of it and I had a lot of fun figuring out how to do it. That's why we took a detour to Oykot around that time, to establish the Emerald City dream before we got to Loguetown. His experience on another crew (something we hadn't had in the other first five) was also conveniently helpful to help me fix the gaps of sailing that Nami and Usopp left behind.

Goldenweek was an extension of Gin, but like - not initially. I did consider adding someone from Baroque Works all along, but I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do with her at all. I mainly started with making all the agents slightly more threatening, and while I was thinking of her age, I initially wanted her to be a cabin boy of some sort. Like, 'we picked up this feral dog, domesticated it, it's our angry lapkitty now?' and while I was trying to figure out how to recruit this potentially rabies-infected hissy creature the Gin backstory wrote itself around her. I no longer remember what I was on in the little garden arc but i bear the cross of her incomprehensible 3am decisions

While I'm at it. I do have a general idea throughout the story of the characters I want to add, but my process is just me staring at wet clay upon a pottery wheel and occasionally freaking out when I stick and flower in the side and everything goes hoot. Vase hasn't collapsed yet
