When a black person states that something you did was racist, chill the fuck out. Its annoying dealing with you panicking trying to dissociate yourself from racism. If you're not black, black people already assume youve said nigga or its variant at least once in your life. If they're interacting with you and bringing something up, its because they want you to stop doing that so they can still interact with you(if ur already friends)

You WILL be racist. You WILL do racist things. You have ALREADY done both. Learn and move on. There's no ideological purity you can hold on to, i promise. Proving you can take the criticism without making it a big deal and practice what you preach is better than any clean slate.

This panel had been gnawing at my mind lately. No way this wasn't a carefully placed chekhov's gun for Tamsy. And not only this wish had come true already, it is also so painful close. Barely out of an arm's reach. Zodyl just doesn't know it yet.

What's more fun is that this is not the only time these two bounced off each other in the plot. Tamsy is the first one to tell Rudo about the communities of people who worship falling trash, Zodyl furthers that point both verbally and by his backstory. Zodyl's the one presenting The Watchman Series™️, just for Tamsy to later say how silly this name sounds, unlike the original one.

Paired with their somewhat similar/paralleling story roles it makes such a cool set up. I really want to see them interact and how it can go

sometimes I think about how max caufield is spoken about from the fandom and really get disheartened by it

her flaws and mistakes and grief push the plot forward and yet she gets bashed on constantly for when/how she uses her time travel powers

or when people get on her for friend zoning warren despite it being it clear in the game her social anxiety prevents her from truly thinking someone could like her like that, especially combined with the fact that she's in love with chloe

even the casually biphobia she faces from some of fandom is insanely dishonest

bit of a rant but i really do want a hellguard/nijiku family arc but i know its going to awaken the worst in this fandom 😭 people are already so weird about zanka and overly project onto him + the gachi fandom is where nuance goes to die as is. like i can already see if any characters (god forbid enjin) encourage zanka to speak with his family they're going to call them bad people, if urana writes their dynamic in a way that implies any form of forgiveness from zanka/redemption from the family people are going to say its abuse apology, and even if kyouka and goka are shown to be complex its just going to be overshadowed by how people feel about zanka (and no, it doesnt make it okay). its also just going to become another tamsy/mymo situation where if you like them your morals will be questioned as if a fictional character you like is a reflection of your morals. like this will truly be a shit show with every chapter cliffhanger

i dislike the whole “horror is so back” narrative people are throwing around recently with obsession and backrooms. both are great movies, but horror was also so back with the long walk. and sinners. and the substance. and nosferatu. and literally anything directed by jordan peele. horror as a genre will always have its flops. but there will always be those few that revive the hype.

Zanka's so funny bc it really took ONE PERSON being a bit stronger then him at like 14-15 to go from "I'm a genius" to "I'm literally nothing, fuck geniuses we average people have it so hard" ????

Like he's power scaling himself but he did it WRONG!!!!! He's still way above average, it's just that 1/1000 might be better than him. And maybe it's because Hyo trained harder? How would he know!?

I love Zanka, he's like one of my top 3 faves in Gachiakuta, but c'mon 😭
