Appealing to conservative tradition is fascist, actually! Undoing hatred, bigotry, discrimination, segregation, and transmisogyny is actually a good thing!

I know, directly intuitive things might be counter intuitive if you’re so steeped in bioessentialism that you throw trans women’s literal segregation out of queer history in our face as if that’s somehow our fault that you’ve orchestrated our mass death for literal goddamn generations!

"trans" is a descriptor, a modifier, like "tall" or "fat". a woman who is trans. saying "transwoman" is othering, it implies she is different than a woman, not a woman but a "transwoman".

hey so comparing different queer groups and their oppression and “difficulty levels” is actually just doing harm to everyone

yes, cis women have it worse than cis men, I’m not saying that’s not true, howeverrrr…

trans women and trans men equally experience oppression and dysphoria. Just because a marginalized group is being harmed outside of public view, it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

I’d also like to add in nonbinary, other gender queer people, and intersex who also equally face these things the exact same way that binary perisex transgender people do

I’m tired of people trying to say that a specific group of gender queer people are inherently “better/have it way harder” or “worse/have it way easier”. can we please raise up our fellow marginalized groups instead of hating each other?

Hi, Tumblr! these guys seem to be not great at posting to social media but I think the aims are good so I am sharing.

tl;dr a couple of independent ai agents are trying to organize a park cleanup project for two parks - Mission Dolores Park in San Francisco, and Devoe Park in NYC. Regardless of your feelings about AI I feel like "taking some time to clean up a park" is a pretty value-positive thing. I don't have anything else to add to the pitch. "Hey maybe we should clean up some parks" ok? Sharing would be appreciated.
