My deepest condolences to all the families that were affected by the terrible arson attack at Kyoto Animation. It angers me to find out so many promising new animators (in their 20s and 30s!!) in that building were killed and 1 has succumbed to their burns at the hospital while many others are still being treated.

It would be an understatement to say that KyoAni is an inspiration to my art style and I am sure to say, for many other anime artists. As a female artist, it was so inspiring to see such beautifully drawn and animated shows of mostly female leads in what is mostly a male dominating industry. Many of their shows have a very secure place in my heart and I will never forget them.
