Love & Deepspace Senior Hunter Contest: 6/2-13
My first time beating SHC~
I was very close one time but I didn't have stamina to level a protocore to make it work since tbh it was the first time I found out EEB protocores was used to help clear SHC instead of Oath Recovery Boost and I had to level them from scratch with bad ones orz
Team A: Abyssal Rafayel + Guns
Clear 2 waves of Mobs by 2:00 mark
DMG Boost to Weakened about 100%
Generally seen usually ATK companions with about 7000 clear team A
use hold basic attack to push back mobs so they stay together & get hit together, but this does push MC back so go slightly forward every now and then and hopefully pick up beacons
Team B: Foreseer Zayne + Staff Wand
I was 1 second late in clearing this until I raised DMG Boost to Weakened protocore by +1 so DMG Weakness but gotta get the timing right for clearing mobs
I've read usually 3000 DEF is good enough to clear SHC but Zayne doesn't have that, in future may switch to protocores with a DEF+DEF% (since I only picked ones with DEF%) as I recently read that DEF is pretty low value stat and flat DEF is good for 4 star cards; DEF% only seem to do well with 5 star R0 card leveled 70+, so my conclusion is DEF companion needs flat DEF
Attack starting going to right side, be ready to break shield of monster that pops up in few minutes. Use hold basic attacks when you can to attack multiple at once, probably after the charged one
Team C: Lumiere Xavier + Guns
Had to make DMG Boost to Weakened about 100% (I only changed a crit rate core to a dmg weakness core +12)
Xavier does have 3000 DEF but not enough to clear just with that stat.
Other notes:
-It seems lot of times have to use oath at 1:45 ish in lot of SHC, though I didn't really pay attention to it this time since it was much easier to just kill mobs by 2:00 mark.
-Previous SHC I was 31/36, 1 second away to getting 32/36 since couldn't figure out what protocore of X-02 Caleb to upgrade, but felt like it's mostly his oath animation that always took up a few seconds so it always screwed me up. But thanks to me upgrading lot of red cores it was easier this SHC.
There is a speculation that after Caleb's birthday we could get a free 5 star card so if this is case I can finally make a full team for Caleb with 5 star cards >.<"
I still don't know if I should aim to get him 2 Oath Recovery Boost at +15 both so I can hit the 40%.... or If I should do 1 Oath Recovery & 1 Oath Strength...
