Hello! We know all of our OSHA blogs have been dead for like, nearly two years at this point. But lately we've been feeling really nostalgic.

It's weird to say, but we made our first roleplay blog, eviloshaintern (now chaososha), when we were like... 12. Wayyy too young to be on Tumblr, we know. But it was a source of comfort for us (no wonder we made twenty of them). It was kind of our escapism tactic from the real world, shitty home life (which we still have, we're just better at managing it and not wanting to die about it anymore).

The point is, we were thinking about maybe reviving or rebooting one or two of them for a little while, because we think there's still some joy left in all of it. We truly loved writing for it, even if rarely anything ever got finished. We're a bit better at self management now, and maybe this time around we won't get so burnt out about it.

So, here's a poll. yes, they're in pairs, it's the only way we could fit all of them.

So. I currently have 10 planned chapters for Runaway's writing bit thing. I still plan to get it completely done by sometime in January, and I will attempt for it to be all out in the first week or two, but that's gonna be difficult.

(Also if each chapter after it is the same length, it'll be like 20k words. So that'll be fun.)

The first chapter is done! Enjoy and all that, I'm very happy with how it turned out. I might be getting better at writing character interactions too I think.

This is the in-progress first chapter for my writing on Runaway! Just wanted to share what I have so far, even if it only is around 500 words, it's going good for now.

Runaway had already packed her bag with everything she'd need for a stay away from the castle before she began to even question if running again was a good choice. She had been up since 10 pm wondering over what she would need, where exactly she would go, and what she would do, but never once had considered if this was a good idea. The last time she had run away, (albeit with her mom knowing where she had gone) was March of the same year, and she had come back to Jackie being temporarily dead. What if something big happened while she was gone, however long that was? Too many possibilities started rushing through Runaway’s head, and she let herself collapse onto her bed.

Runaway stared up at the ceiling which held glow in the dark stars, and then rolled over to look at the digital clock on her bedside table, accidentally knocking her bag off of the bed in the process. It was just rolling over to 1am, figures. She blows hair out of her face as she sits back up. Mochi, a fat and fluffy black cat that appeared in Runaway’s room one day, jumped up on the bed and layed down on her lap. She looked down, running her fingers through the thick fur, “Well. What do you suppose I should do?” All she gets is a loud meow in response, which she jokingly scoffs at before picking her bag back up onto the bed.

Runaway, sadly, has to move Mochi off of her lap and onto a pillow, as she decides to once again look through her bag. “Dagger, check. Clothes, check. Food, check. Water, check. Blood-Juice Boxes, check. Well. Don't know why I did that for the fourth time tonight.” She stands up and looks into the stand up mirror in the corner of her room, no silver in the area so she’d be able to get a glimpse of her reflection. The curse wasn't just going to disappear, as with her nervous mood, her reflection showed a dull, jumpy version of what she’d usually look like. “Yeah. I think I need to go fix that. I’ll go.” With a nod to herself, she pulls on a fluffy jacket for the cold night, and slings her bag over her shoulder. She pets Mochi for a few seconds before she walks to her doorway.

As Runaway puts her hand on the door to her room, a thought which she’d been trying to shove into the back of her head decides to rush into her head. ‘Should I tell mom what I'm going to do?’ She shakes her head, and removes her hand from the doorknob. She thinks on it more, ‘I'm probably not going to be gone for long. Jeez, I am way too jumpy over the idea of telling people I'm leaving. Eh. I'll work on that when I get back. Okay. Just like last time. I'll tell anyone where I'm going if I catch them on the way out.’ With that, she opens the door and walks out quickly, leaving her door open in case Mochi needed a way out.

That's all I have so far, maybe only a third or fourth of the first chapter. But. Enjoy I guess.

(Okay so, for the writing for Runaway, this is a planned version of how it will all end. I have not written anything else, and am using the ending of it as an RP starter for different ideas. Or something like that. Maybe I just want a planned ending. Take this anyways. This happens around January 8th, 2023.)

Felix had to leave before the three of them walked into the city holding an entrance to the OSHA building. He promised to stay in touch though, and Runaway would hold him to that. Mich stayed with her however, and they walked Runaway under the cover of darkness to just outside of the doors to the OSHA grounds entrance. It was confusing how this illusion worked, an office building that opened up to the large OSHA grounds, but it was familiar. Just the sight of it almost had Runaway tearing up.

She turned to Mich, "Hey. Thanks for staying, but I think I'll be good from here on out." They smiled and nodded, "Right. I don't think I'd be allowed in anyways with my history. Bye lil' sis." Before Runaway could jokingly object to what Mich had referred to her as, they were gone. Runaway was once again alone, but not for long. She stopped just before swinging the doors open and walking inside, thinking on all that had happened before this point.

Had it really only been four months since she ran away due to that curse? So much had happened since then. Alaric was most definitely dead, Mich was completely on her side now, and she felt better. It seemed like OSHA was a lifetime ago. But Runaway missed it. She missed her mom, she missed her dama, she missed her sister, and now she came back. She was gone for everything after mid September, and as she grabbed the door handle, she thought to herself 'I really hope nothing has changed much. Right, yeah. Everything changes constantly... Well. I hope they aren't mad at least.'

With that, a small moment of contemplation came. Who would she say hello to first? Could she even plan for that? She shook her head. Letting what-ifs get in the way was a bad thing to do at this time. It was just four months, there was no way they thought she was dead or something. With all of those thoughts quickly subsiding, she smiled. Runaway whispered into the night air, "I'm home." And walked inside onto the OSHA grounds.

The New Year's writing boost for the return of Runaway Pendragon. The plan anyway. I will be posting it by the first week of New Year's if all goes as planned and I stay stable enough for that long.

But the plan/set out for it is as follows:

September 8th was her last canonical interaction, with Kishar. The Curse that caused her to be viewed as she sees herself. Which means this is 4 months before New Year's 2023. Due to this she ran away again aside from the going to fight Alaric arc, the Ides Of March (which I never finished.) But her name is Runaway, that is what she's known for. So let's say it caused a really bad mental health break so she decided to get away.

Ran off, unseen this time, or maybe she was seen and just had not been stopped, and she came into contact with Mich very quickly. They then decided that they actually would care about her, like when they took care of her after she was nearly killed by Jack, and tagged along on her 'journy'. The two then ran into Felix, Runaway's lost older brother who Mich told her about, and with reunions, the siblings and half sibling (Mich) were off.

Eventually all three of them found a cure for Runaway's curse, and where it was from, but I don't know much about that yet. Aside from the cure being found, before that, a lot of comfort was needed for Runaway as her self esteem took a huge plummet. Before this, regret of running away again had deeply set in for Runaway, but now it was finally for a reason, the curse being gone, and it made her feel a bit better at least.

Runaway and her older brother/sibling then hunt down a lot of their half-siblings, trying to now have more of a purpose on this journey, getting rid of Alaric. During this they end up meeting a few extended family members that also despise Alaric, and help them by giving advice on more of his kids and their powers. The three even meet a few people who owe Felix or Mich a few favors, that help them throughout this mini-adventure.

Eventually the three, after all these experiences together, everything they have done, they kill Alaric. He is a gone, a few of the siblings learn that he was bad and although they have a hard time accepting it, they still do. Runaway and Felix get a few answers on what happened to their mother and tell each other a bit about what went down after Felix's death was 'faked', more than what was said before anyways.

After this, Felix parts ways. He really can't stay in one place for too long, but he promises he'll stay in touch with Runaway, and he does. Mich doesn't come directly back to OSHA grounds, knowing they probably won't be accepted. They still look out for Runaway however. And Runaway goes home at the beginning of 2023.

She gets back to the castle and really hopes that her family won't freak out too bad. After she has been gone for 4 months, she just knows a lot has happened throughout the time. She just mostly hopes that they don't hate her for leaving, although that is very low on possibility. She jokingly thinks of using the 'my 19th birthday is in a month, please don't freak out' card to avoid anything happening before making her presence known.

So uh. Take this if I don't manage to write it all! It'll be a lot of I do, so this is a basic rundown.

Hey so uh. I am not dead. This school year has just been difficult and I fell down a mental health indent which I am still sitting in. I have not abandoned this account forever though, I just took a break. And I think next year, 2023, I'll be okay enough to come back. Which is why I have something special planned.

A reason why Runaway was inactive, since I can't do it for all of my like. 21 OSHA accounts, I'll do it for her, arguably my favorite. It's a bit of writing, as I want to write. It will follow what happened after Runaway succeeded in getting away unseen from OSHA.

That's right. After Runaway was (in her last canonical interaction, notably with Kishar) cursed to look like how she feels, I think she ran away from OSHA grounds. She did try to get away unnoticed once before, to fight Alaric. So who's to say she didn't do so again.

This bit of writing I plan to show her running away, unseen this time, to meet up with Mich, and then maybe also her long-lost older brother. Getting her cursed cured. Being gone for around the 4 months, and then ending up when she finally enters OSHA grounds again.

I miss this 'fandom' if that's what to refer to it as, and I'd like to get back into it. So this is how I plan to get back into it. And I hope I get this done over Christmas break, which really seems achievable. I have a bit planned, so I hope those who see this post are just as excited for it as I am.

Runaway wasn't feeling too good about herself today. She just couldn't get everything she had done out of her head. At least her morals weren't taken away arriving at OSHA, but. That was a pretty shitty upside, and the only one, in this situation, the murders she had commied. She however, did find a pretty necklace laying around. It had a pendant which she couldn't open yet, and she was pretty curious about that. While walking, she makes the mistake everyone makes once in a while. She trips over her own feet and the pendant flys out of her hands and hits the ground, cracking and releasing smoke all around her.

She coughs a bit, and the smoke dissipates as quickly as it all appeared, leaving a few whisps of it and a cracked necklace pendant. She feels, weird. She pulls out her knife to check her reflection real quick, and nearly drops it. There's spots of blood on her skin, everywhere. And maybe worst of all, she looks like him. She looks like Alaric. She looks like just another one of her blood-crazy half siblings. And she hates it.

*Kishar had been nearby when Runaway tripped, and they hurry over, having seen the smoke surrounding her. Smoke coming out of a necklace is never a good sign, and they're concerned; is she okay?*

Hey, Sweetheart, Are You Alright? I Saw You Trip, Is Everything Okay?

*They do notice something is different about her appearance, but they don't care. This is Runaway, and they care about her.*

Runaway is a bit shaky as she tries to stand up

"Uh. Physically I am. not hurt but. Uh. I am wondering what the hell that necklace did. Why do I look like this? I look like..."

She trails off, and takes deep breaths to try and control herself, but Runaway is still shaking.

I Do Not Know. It Might Be Some Kind Of Magic - A Curse Maybe?

*They offer Runaway an arm, wanting to hold her but unsure if she's comfortable with touch right now*

I Do Not Think It Physically Changed You Though - This Seems To Just Be An Illusion. We Should Be Able To Find Someone Who Can Break It For You, I Think. Either Way, You Are Still My Daughter, Still Runaway, Still You. The Way You Look Will Never Change That.

Runaway takes their arm and hugs them, she may or may not be crying.

"Thank you..."

Small wisps of smoke surround her again and for a moment, while hugging Kishar, she looks like herself again.

*They purr softly, holding her close*

*They gently run their fingers through her hair, affectionately, doing their best to comfort Runaway*

No Matter What, I Will Always Love You, Dumuituda.

Runaway hugs them tighter, she may have to ask for the meaning of Dumuituda later, but she can tell it's another way of her parent showing love, so thats enough for now

"Love you too Dama."

*They purr a little louder, holding Runaway as close as they can. They want to shield her from her woes and fears, but they can't. They can still hold her though.*

If You Do Not Want To See Your Reflection Right Now, I Can Lend You A Blanket From My Hammerspace? You Can Wear It Like A Cloak, Perhaps

Runaway nods a bit

"yeah... I have a feeling this may not go away soon. I'd rather not. See the effects."

*Kishar moves one arm up into their hair, and pulls out a soft blue blanket with little stars on it, gently moving so they can wrap it around Runaway's shoulders*

There We Go. Now You Look Like A Fine Young Lady From The Late Middle Ages, Heading Out To Find Herself An Adventure, And Maybe Some Friends Along The Way. Or Perhaps A Young Woman From The Victorian Era, Enjoying A Nice Cosy Cloak Over Her Shoulders As She Walks From Her Carriage In The Snow, Heading To The Finest Ball Of The Year.

*They're clearly trying to cheer Runaway up, and make her think of more positive things than the curse*

Runaway laughs loudly, and thinks on it

"alright, maybe I am a lovely young woman from the Victorian area who would love to warm up by the fire in a lovely large building housing the largest and finest ball of the year"

She is clearly humoring the idea, Kishar's attempt at cheering her up, clearly working. But as she talks on it more, her appearance shifts again. She does look like a lovely young Victorian woman, still wrapped up in the blanket, still laughing.

*They grin; maybe the curse has something to do with how she sees herself? Even just in the moment?*

Lovely! I Am Sure The Young Miss Would Love Some Hot Chocolate, And Perhaps An Entertaining Tale Or Two To Pass The Evening?

*They put on their most fancy victorian era butler voice*

In All Seriousness, Do You Want Some Hot Chocolate? We Can Go To The Indoor Garden, Have A Mini Picnic Maybe. I Can Tell You Some Fun Stories About Things I Have Found Or Done While At OSHA, Or Things I Have Overheard From People Working Here. Believe Me, Some Of The Things I Have Seen Are Very Funny.

*They lower their voice to a dramatic, faux-conspiratorial whisper*

One Time I Saw Someone Try And Make What They Thought Was A Cloud-Seeding Device, You Know, To Make Rain? But When They Went To Move It, It Exploded In A Puff Of Steam. Turns Out They Had Made What Can Only Be Described As A Dye Bomb. Nothing Was Broken And Nobody Was Hurt, But Everything In The Room Was Dyed Hot Pink. This Includes The Person Working On It. Imagine Seeing Someone With Hair Sticking Up On End, Pulling Off Their Safety Goggles To Show That Every Surface That Was Available Had Turned Pink, Leaving The Weirdest Stains When Things Moved.

That Person Was Half Pink For A Full Month After.

Runaway seems to be back looking like her normal self for now, maybe looks more like herself than usual.

Upon hearing the story, Runaway chuckles and smiles widely.

"ooo I wish I had been there! That sounds hilarious."

*They chuckle, smiling softly*

I Think We Can Grab Some Hot Chocolate In A Thermos, Maybe A Few Sweets And Things Too. Let Me Know If There Is Anything Else You Want, Okay? This Mini Picnic Can Be Full Of Snacks And Stuff. And Probably At Least One Semi-Sapient Plant. I Have Seen Some Things Wandering In The Indoor Garden. They All Seem Pretty Nice Though.

*They pause for a moment, gently running their fingers through Runaway's hair*

Runaway is still smiling, she loves her parent, she looks up to Kishar a lot. Runaway is really happy now, nearly fully distracted from what went down a few minutes ago, and she wraps herself tighter in the blanket.

*They purr, happily, and barely restrain a few parental chirps - Runaway isn't a baby eldritch, so she wouldn't really understand why they were chirping at her. Still, they kind of want to; she's daughter!*

*They grin, and gently scoop Runaway up, holding her carefully to their chest in a protective sort of way. Even though they aren't actively projecting emotions right now, they're almost radiating love and joy and protectiveness.*

"Nope, this is perfect. Really comfortable, thank you."

*They purr happily, and set off. Soon they have their snacks and hot chocolate, and are almost at the indoor garden*

"A lot of flowers! There's some very pretty ones that smell nice, in the right places. There's some that are. Well less so in terms of smelling nice. Did you know that if you search enough you'll find one that smells like. Battery acid almost?"

Runaway smiles at Kishar, she is very much enjoying spending time with her parent.

Oooh, That Sounds Very Interesting! I Had No Idea - Maybe We Will Find It If We Look Around For Long Enough?

*They chuckle, softly, and begin looking for a nice spot full of flowers*

"Oh yeah maybe! I'm pretty sure it was mostly orange or some color close to that."

Runaway points out a spot with soft colored flowers, some hanging ones as well.

"What about over there? It looks pretty."

Ooh, You Are Right! That Way It Is!

*They head over in the direction Runaway is pointing, humming happily as they do so. This way does indeed look very pretty! New flowers begin to pop up as they walk, all over the path. It's beautiful*

Runaway looks around at the new flowers popping up

"Wow... I don't think I've ever seen this happen more than. Once or twice maybe."

Oh! It Happens Sometimes! Apparently It Happens More When I Am Around? I Guess It Is Because My Abilities Seem To Affect Plants More Easily Or Something.

*They purr, happily, and a few flowers appear in their hair. They look like yellow and pink roses*

I Have Gotten A Bit Of A Handle On Them, So Flowers Appear Less When I Am Experiencing Strong Emotions, But They Still Turn Up Sometimes.

"Ah! That's so cool... The flowers look even prettier now. Should we sit down? I think this is a good spot for a small little picnic like ours."

"I uh. I think I got cursed. Or something..."

She gestures to the necklace and the very few strands of the smoke still in the air.

"Oh dear, oh dear oh dear..." He lurches even closer and holds out a hand, somewhat awkwardly, as if not quite sure what to do with it. "Is that you, Miss Runaway? Well. Hopefully it is only your appearance that has changed..."

"Yeah.. it's still me. And I still feel like me I guess but... I don't look like me anymore. I look like... I don't want to think about it."

"I don't really have much of an opinion right now, Lavender would be fine I suppose."

Runaway points out a spot with soft colored flowers, some hanging ones as well.

"What about over there? It looks pretty."

*They head over in the direction Runaway is pointing, humming happily as they do so. This way does indeed look very pretty! New flowers begin to pop up as they walk, all over the path. It's beautiful*
