He pretends to marry into royalty, to fully restore his noble status. I do admire and respect that, so now that my eldest daughter is married, I might grant him Anna's hand. We'll see what the future holds." Raiden mused, watching as his younger daughter chatted happily with Njord's eldest son. "W-What? How did you get him to agree on that? And so fast, for that matter!" Anna widened her eyes, visibly surprised, but also happy, and noticing how Luke waved at her, she was quick to return the acknowledgement.

Meanwhile in the Summer Palace, Nana chuckled at Alexander's joke. "Aww, I'm sure your houses are lovely too, in their own way!" The princess replied, and as her husband wrapped his arm around her, the happiest smile appeared upon her features. "You are wonderful too, my love. The greatest blessing I was ever granted!" Nana replied with honesty, wrapping her arms around Alexander's neck, her lips meeting his for a loving kiss.

Alexander bid everyone farwell before returning his attention to Nana.

"That's a good idea. It's been a very exciting day."

The prince replied, saying as the newlyweds exited the great hall.

Soon, they arrived at the summer palace.

"Wow, this beautiful." Alexander, looking around at scenery, gently squeezing his beides hand.

"Should we go inside My Lady?" He asked with a soft smile.

"Of course I would. That's what family's for!"

Hunter replied with a mischievous grinned finishing treat before catching the Mason prepared to leave.

Kori nodded. "Sure, we'll see you at home, Lu!" She answered, kissing Hunter's cheeks before following her grandparents.

Nana smiled and nodded, also saying her goodbyes to all their guests and family members, and then let two guards escort her and Alexander to their new home within the Imperial grounds. Once they arrived at the Summer Palace, Nana looked around, a pleased grin upon her features. "Yes! My grandparents were very happy here, and I wish just the same for us, my love." The princess mused, taking her husband's hand and nodding at his question. Once inside, she looked around once more. "It's even more beautiful than I remember! Father did a great job with all the renovations he ordered!" She smiled, caressing Alexander's hand. "Come, I'll show you around our new home!" Usually, there were always a minimum of two servants at the residence at all times, should the royals need anything, but considering this was supposed to be their first night together, the new couple was granted their privacy.

Meanwhile, Anna grinned at Hunter's reply. "You're the best... big brother!" The princess chuckled, raising her glass and drinking some more sake, watching as the Nordic prince approached Luke.

At his fellow ruler's question, the Emperor smiled. "Kori used to venture into our gardens when she was little, and ended up befriending Nana. My daughter had always been quite shy, so it was nice to see her smiling and playing with a friend, so Kori ended up staying with us most of the time. I'm sure Nana sees her much more as a friend, than as a mere handmaid."

Meanwhile, the Emperor chuckled at his fellow ruler's comment. "Well, I could tell you she's a very decent young woman. Strong and opinionated, but also very loyal. Plus, if it's something that matters to your lineage, her grandfather is a chief on the island they originally come from, so she can be considered of royal descent, I think. Overall, I think she'd be a good partner to your son." The Emperor mused, also taking a sip of his drink.

As the Masons approached them, Nana chuckled at Kori's comment, observing the little children covered in cake. "I'm really glad everyone had fun!" The princess commented, hugging her friend. The prince suggested getting in line behind the younger princess. "Although it seems like Ichinose tends to get kind of quite competitive with any guy giving you girls attention."

He added, shrugging at his observation.

"That's wonderful. we're so happy for you!" Kori beamed hugging the bride and groom.

"Thank you, we owe a lot of it, you guys." Alexander chuckled, returning the embrace.

"Maybe Luke and Anna might be next?" He whispered so Luke didn't hear as Kori laughed.

"Well, anything is possible!" The maid joked. If Lu and Anna did decide to take it that far, then she would, of course, support her brother, but that future remained uncertain for now.

"I'm glad to see everyone having a good time!" Njord said, digging into his cake.

"Mmm, I may have to get this recipe from your cooks, Raiden it's delightful!"

The Njord ruler added, covering his mouth, watching everyone.

"Do I have a few questions about your daughter's handmaid. After tonight, of course."

Plus, ambitious as he was, she knew Takumi would go against everything and everyone to court her, and secretly, the princess hoped Luke had the same courage. However, now was not the time to be somber, so Anna tried to put on a more happy face for her older sister. "Come, let's get ourselves some cake!" Alexander nodded, leading Nana to the floor, carefully placing a hand on her waist as the band began to play.

"Mother loves this song." He mused, dipping his bride.

"I swear I'm starting to think she could be a seer at this point."

He chuckled, pulling Nana a little closer as the guests awed.

"This song was practically made for them." Luke whispered as Kori giggled in agreement.

"It definitely seems like it." The maid replied, watching the newly wedded couple.

"I hope Kenji and Anna's future partners are half a good of fix as Blue and Nan are."

Lucas nodded. "Me too, Munchkin." He blonde replied, glancing over at the younger princess.

While at the royal table, Hunter noticed the fellow blonde's constant staring.

"Seems like you've caught one of the Mason's attention, Anna." The older prince quietly teased so their fathers wouldn't hear as his little brothers rolled their eyes, like he didn't have his eyes glued onto their sister-in-law's maid.

"He knew he's not that suttle, right?" Charlie asked Kenji and Toby, who snorted.

Soon, the song ended, and the guest paised the noble pair.

"Well, that brought back a lot of memories, Love choice you two."

Njord said briefly, wiping his eyes as the couple entered.

Happily dancing with her husband, Nana smiled wide at his words. "I feel like I'll really get along with your mother, and I truly look forward to meeting her! If anything, we already have something in common, our unconditional love for you." The princess mused, looking lovingly into Alexander's eyes.

Sitting at the table, Anna felt Luke's eyes landing on her, so she naturally smiled and waved at him. Hunter also noticed it, and his teasing made the younger princess laugh. "Oh, he also caught mine... even though he likes to play hot and cold with me... I wonder why, though." She mused, speaking almost in a whisper, so only her new brother in law could hear it.

Once the music was over and the newlyweds rejoined their families at the table, Nana smiled and bowed politely at King Njord's words. "I'm glad you liked it, Your Majesty." Then, she turned to Alexander. "How about we cut our cake now, my love?"

"Ah, well, if Lucas is anything like his sister, he's probably a little hesitant because commanders tend to get in trouble for courting royal right? "

Hunter replied, taking a shot.

"Maybe that's why."

The Nordic heir added with a shrug.

Kori gave her brother a sympathetic smile while rubbing his back.

"If it makes you feel any better, You'd be a WAY better suitor than Tak."

Luke snorted, shaking his head.

"Thanks, Kid." He joked before cheering for their friends.

"You're quite welcome, dear." Njord replied, patting his son's shoulder.

"Goog idea, My Lady, looks like the little ones are more excited for the treat than we are."

He mused noticing all the children staring at the tall dessert.

The prince offered his wife his hand as they made their way to the sweets table.

"Wow, the chefs really went all out today."

"Maybe it should become a little tradition since it worked well for us."

"Well, Lu definitely caught her attention."

Njord chuckled and nodded, downing his own beverage as the guests followed his lead, as they chatted the Nordic phase.

Kori laughed, tapping her glass with her family before taking a sip as the bard continued to play.

Soon after Mei quietly approached the newlyweds.

"Forgive me Your Majesties, but it is time for your first dance."

Alexander nodded at the maid before thanking her then looking Nana.

"May I have this dance, my lady?"

The Mason siblings cheered as the royal couple took the floor.

Devon thought aloud as Little Sisa babbled the demanding more cake.

Also noticing how Anna cheered for Lucas at the end of his performance, the princess nodded in agreement. "He always does. Anna really fancies him." Nana whispered, happy for her sister.

Not too long after that, Mei, the handmaid, approached them, reminding the newlyweds that the time for their first dance had arrived. "Of course, husband." Nana smiled up at Alexander, taking his hand and following him to the center of the room, as the musicians started playing the song they'd composed especially for the occasion.
