3D Print your own Miley Cyrus Wrecking Bauble
The Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball video has been one of the biggest music videos of 2013, spawning about a million parody videos. Of course, as it’s almost Christmas, there’s bound to be a few ‘Wrecking Baubles’ too. While you can cut out Miley to sit on your baubles (http://bit.ly/Jg0ttC), would it not be better to print your own bauble?
At RUNdevilRUN, we like to play around with our 3D printer and create different things. So, to celebrate this festive season, we’ve created our very own Miley Wrecking Bauble!
To print your own, just go to Thingiverse and download your very own Miley Cyrus Wrecking Bauble (http://bit.ly/1eb15ip) to paint if you so choose. Our final piece took 7 hours to print (depending on chosen density) and about an hour to paint by hand. You’ll need full support on this thing though, and watch for fiddly bits around the chain when removing the support material.
We would love to see what you create, so let us know how you get on and share your pictures with us @RunDevilRun_UK on Twitter and @RunDevilRunUK on Instagram.

Experimental pendant design. This is stupidly exciting.

Products In Development
At RUNdevilRUN we are always working on new ideas. Scribblerings, are just the beginning! In the run up to Christmas we’re planning to add a few goodies to our lineup.
Rather excitingly, we’ve been working on 3D designs for our next range of fashion jewellery, inspired by the world of science!
The design process of our jewellery varies from theme to theme. In the case our Scribblerings, they’re drawn out individually. Each new ring is different from the last. However, some are designed using 3D design software.
One of our upcoming concepts is a pendant based on the solar system. It was created in CAD (Computer Aided Design) software to come up with the initial shape.
We then sent it off to be 3D printed as a prototype. It took a couple of goes to make tweaks that would create a more practical piece of jewellery, and be more visually pleasing.
This was the last design we had printed, but it could still be changed slightly to make the best looking item that we can.
What do you think? We would love to know what you think of this design.
