do u ever wonder abt urself from an external pov??? bc like. everyone is p complicated and contradictory on the inside, but other ppl get a very simplified version of who u r based on ur interactions w them or what they see u doin

like if i was a cartoon character, what archetype would i be? if i was a design, if i was a DESIGNED person, what parts of me would be the most cohesive/emphasized, and which less significant traits would not be perceived at all???? its just bonkers to think abt i guess

A microaggression is still an aggression. Are y'all really telling me that I should be thankful that some just uses “gay” as a derogatory term instead of beating a gay person too they’re nearly dead? Because guess what, I’ve seen someone I knew personally nearly die because he came out in the town I grew up in, so I know all about these “worse forms of homophobia”. Hell, in my state, I can be fired or turned away from housing and businesses if someone knows I’m gay. Experiencing that, I can tell you that calling someone “gay” in a derogatory manner is just as disgustingly homophobic as any of the other stuff.

That being said, I can joke about whatever the fuck I want concerning a straight person being homophobic, because funnily enough, a straight person isn’t gonna get slaughtered in cold blood for being a homophobe. For being gay, I very well could be.
