I'm All In Rewatch - Episode 7x20
She was singing like Lorelai, not like Lauren...Yeah, now Luke and Lorelai are, I don't know, what are they doing now? They're sniffing each other around. They're trying, they're trying, they're getting the scent again, aren't they? It's like, is it on? could it be on again? What's happening here? I think it might be on, I'm not sure. I, I like how they try to scale each other's walls. I think that's, that creates, creates a wonderful tension. You know?...It's a nice little scene. I I really love the Luke/Lorelai banter. It's great banter...You know, you know what, you know, I, I tell, I'm gonna make a big reveal here, please. With a little behind the scenes this, and it answers...Now, when I was watching this episode and this scene came on, I was, and I saw Rory sitting at the table. I was like, oh my God, I remember this so well. Because we were all there. Right. Practically the entire cast was there. Right. And guess what? We, suspected that this was it. We suspected that we weren't going to get a Season eight. We felt, and we were even talking about it. 'cause I remember talking about it with Alexis and just the speculation of it. And there was some undecided people and we didn't know. So the feeling in the room was, as we were all kind of, you know, gathering maybe as a cast for the last time, was that we're probably not coming back. I remember that feeling very, very distinctly now...Really did they top that with one of the, it was one of the big moments in the show... in the whole series. Yeah. It was a huge moment....First time in my life. I realized the, the, the real power of that relationship for the fans...Do you know what they do? They put a, an orange X on the very side of the camera right below the lens and that's the person. So you gotta react to that...I think that scene was so important and the producers knew that that's Oh, yeah. So important that I'm sure Lauren was there singing to me. Yeah. Because they wanted that connection..That was a big, you could call that moment a big movie moment. That's an iconic movie moment. You know, they've seen the scene before in many other films. Big big impact on an audience. -Scott
