INDEFINITE HIATUS

What’s up everyone? I want to say I really appreciate all of you following this blog and for a handful of you roleplaying with me here. Unfortunately, I chose to roleplay as Paige because I felt that she was a small character I could heavily develop, and I thought that she might be the first canon character I’d be able to play because I wouldn’t have any anxiety from duplicates.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen several of them, and when I initially decided to make Paige, I suppose I didn’t search tumblr enough to see them before I decided to make them. I tend to get very insecure about my writing and characterization when I come across duplicates, and I don’t think I can deal with that.

Additionally, I move back into my dorm in a week, and I begin college courses in eleven days. I’ll be much to busy between my job, my classes, and my sorority to run this blog when I feel insecure about it & am already running two others. 

I hope that no one takes this personally. This post is not intended as shade, and I’m not trying to come off as passive-aggressive towards other Paige Krasikeva blogs, or anything of the sort. I love the abundance of blogs that exist of every Teen Wolf Canon & OC and would never want to discourage making those blogs, running those blogs, or interacting with those blogs. I just wanted to explain why I’m leaving this blog.

Again, thank you so much to everyone who interacted with me ooc or with Paige in character. Please feel free to follow me on @foxliing or @hcwliing - my Teen Wolf Indie OC && My Teen Wolf/Victorious Crossover Indie. These blogs are semiactive (I’m not on them all the time but continuously lurk on mobile, reblog musings/aesthetics, and I always find the time for replies) and their navigation pages are still in progress, but I’m fine with responding to any messages about clarification. I hope to see any of you who aren’t there already showing up in my followers lists so I can interact with you.

‘Jennifer Blake got me high on magic and forced me into a non-consensual sexual relationship with her. Making a comparison between her and yourself is a little risky there,’ Derek said, shaking his head. He knew that Paige wouldn’t mean it that way, but he was still a little sensitive about the events that had transpired between him and Jennifer. Looking back, he realized just how foolish and trusting he had been. Shooting a glance at the woman before him, he studied her for a moment before asking, ‘so what are you now?’

Well, shit. She hadn’t known all that, otherwise she wouldn’t have mentioned it in the first place. “I’m not saying I’m like her.” She said in a cool, clipped voice. She didn’t want to bring up any bad memories for him - she should know that, after all. She still cared about him. She didn’t know if she’d ever stop caring about him. “But when I died at the roots of the Nemeton... it saved me. It healed me enough and helped me accept the Bite.” She sighed, shaking her head at the other. “I’m like you.” Is how she responded. “Well, marginally.” When she meets his eyes again, her eyes are a bold blue. Omega.

“You could have called me. You could have told me that you were alive.” He told her,  his hands shaking from anger. He was annoyed that another person had BETRAYED him. He was a broken, hurt werewolf and no one ever seemed to take his thoughts into account.

“I know.” She says, not trying to defend herself any further. What could she say? She’d explained her actions as much as she could, and she knew he had EVERY RIGHT to never forgive her. “I was confused. I know you would’ve helped me, but I wasn’t really thinking at the time. Instinct took over. I know that doesn’t make it better.” She sighs heavily. “I figured you would come find me when no one ever found my body. I thought you’d realize what had happened.” She swallows hard. “But that wasn’t your responsibility. Anyways - I just thought that you had a right to know. I’ll leave you alone now.” And then, more softly. “But you know how to find me if you wanna talk.”

       ‘yeah, it does smell like shit doesn’t it?’ he offers a smug-like smile, before it f a d e s quick. clearly she knew what this was all about, from the smell, to this place. he did not, he was only passing through, but he was wiling to learn. ‘like some supernatural hot spot, if you ask me. but, I didn’t say that.’ it was obvious she wasn’t what ‘human’ may be at this point, ‘& it’s damian. just passing through, don’t live here.’ or anywhere for that matter.

“Why do you think it’s called Beacon Hills? It’s a Beacon. It calls them here.” A soft laugh. “It called me back here. It probably called you here, Damian.” She slid her hands into her back pockets. “Because there’s a tree - well, it’s been a stump for as long as I’ve been here - called the Nemeton. It’s powerful, though, even cut down. It, uh, brought me back from the dead when I was fifteen.” She admits. Everyone supernatural would find that out soon anyway. “That’s why they’re all here, that tree. It’s hard to resist the call of that kind of power.” She’d done her research while she was away.

‘That’s not possible,’ Derek said, features darkening, even though the similarities were blatantly obvious. It was just illogical. He had learned that lesson with his pack, with his family. The dead stay dead. Shaking his head, he backed away from the woman, unsheathing his claws, ‘you’re not her. You couldn’t be. Paige…she died in my arms. There’s no way to fake that. How dare you. Is this funny to you? To joke around like this?’

She had expected rage or sadness, but not for him not to believe her. Watching his claws flick out, him moving away from her, she sighed, her eyes tinting a bold blue. “Where did I die, Derek? The Nemeton. It helped Jennifer Blake survive, didn’t it?” She had done some snooping and had caught up a little bit on the occurrences that saved her own life. “Well, it helped me too. It let me accept the bite. What do I have to say to make you believe me?”

The scent that hit his nose was heady, smoked cedar wood blended with hints of lemongrass, sharp and dry. Though his mind registered the scent, the woman in front of him was definitely not her. Was it? Staring a little blankly, he took in the sight before him. Though the woman looked foreign, all sharp angles and sleek hair, there were miniscule details that sparked recognition within him, the beauty mark she had on one cheek a blaring sign. ‘You…’ Derek started, unsure where to begin, ‘are you Paige?’

“Paige Krasikeva.” She confirms this for him, looking away guiltily. “I guess I look different, now. You do too.” She looks back at him, eyes tracing over his large and dark form. “I’m sorry. I wanted to come back to you as soon as I.. woke up.” She sighed. “But I wasn’t sure what I would’ve done if anyone had seen me. I still don’t really know how I’m alive.”

She hadn’t eaten in days not since finding out some of the things that Beacon Hill held, even so, she stared at the plate in front of her, fingers flicking the fries around as she tummy grumbled. She was taught to kill and ever inch of her  body wanted to kill. Scott, Derek, Lydia— everyone. Her fingers itched for it and her mind craved it. The waitress asked if she was okay she only replied with a not so nice, “I’M find go away.” She didn’t know who to trust or believe anymore.

“You don’t look fine.” Paige would say as she approached the female. She’d heard about this girl from some of the other residents - but she was more concerned about her than she was afraid. “Do you wanna talk about what’s going on?” She notes the sallow look on her face. “You need to eat something - you look like you haven’t eaten in days.” But Paige has always been the maternal type.

        it was growing harder to tell who was who in this place; everyone smelled the same, a familiar scent that made his nose scrunch. she was no different, a scent that hit him first then a form LITERALLY crashing into him. at first he shakes it off as nothing, forcing himself to smile at the brunette, ‘it’s fine, shit happens.’ he replies carelessly, taking a step back from the s t r a n g e r. ‘you look about as surprised as ever though.’ which wasn’t any of his business, but he comments anyways.

“I am surprised.” She admits. “This is my hometown - I haven’t been here in, say, ten years. It just smells a lot different than I remember.” She admits. “I’m Paige, by the way. You are?” She lifts a single brow in question, trying to be friendly. She knew there would be a shitstorm when the residents found out she was still alive, and she wanted at least a little positivity.

Paige is pretty certain that he hates her for never letting him know the truth, but she had always been too afraid - until now, which is why she’s back. Well, that, and she had a job offering at the high school.

The she-wolf would pause after bumping into the male. She’d been so distracted by peering at her surroundings that she hadn’t really been paying attention to where she was going - unusual, for someone who was usually collected and focused. “Excuse me. I wasn’t watching where I was going.” She says softly, and then catching the scent. More? She remembered learning about how many.. creatures were in Beacon Hills before she died and was brought back to life, but she hadn’t realized it could just be a stranger on the street. She crooks a brow, but doesn’t mention it.
